Jay began by saying, 'It's been a while' in fluent Japanese and conveyed, 'I got a vacation, so I decided to go to Japan with my mother.' Upon arriving in Hakodate, he surprised viewers by asking the taxi driver about local famous spots in fluent Japanese. What particularly surprised viewers was the appearance of GLAY. After meeting up with GLAY, Jay showed them enjoying dinner and snowboarding together, delighting their fans with their reunion. Jay also ate famous hamburgers and ramen, saying, 'I made many wonderful memories in Hakodate. I think I will miss it.' After the video was released, GLAY's TERU shared on his official X (formerly Twitter), 'Jay asked me where he should take his mother in Hokkaido, so I told him to come play in Hakodate since I would be there during this time. He came with his mother on a direct flight from Incheon Airport to Hakodate Airport.' He added, 'Since it was a great opportunity, TAKURO & JIRO also joined in Hakodate. It was a fun four days, but I never expected to see Jay's Hakodate travel diary on ENHYPEN's site!' He noted that fans in Hakodate, known as 'Engines' (ENHYPEN's fan nickname), would be surprised to see Jay in Hakodate. Jay and GLAY previously collaborated on the song 'whodunit' in 2024, and Jay made a surprise appearance at GLAY's concert on June 9, 2024, at Saitama's Belluna Dome, much to the delight of fans.
