EXO's Suho and Kai revealed their struggles during the preparation process for their 8th full album. Recently, on BIGBANG's D-LITE's YouTube channel 'Tae Sung (out of the house)', a video titled 'The appearance of superpowers in the cosmic explosion... It seems like it will be interesting' was released. When Suho and Kai appeared, D-LITE shouted the meme 'We Are One Chohaja!' adding 'Chohaja' to EXO's slogan 'WE ARE ONE'. Kai, who surely knew this meme, said, 'At first, I didn't want to know. What on earth is this “Chohaja” that everyone is saying? I am already “We Are One.”' He explained, 'We had a long period of military service. Fans were also “We Are One,” but over the six years, it gradually faded. So when we finally came together again, it suddenly felt like “We Are One Chohaja.”' The two also mentioned EXO's stage at the recently highly talked-about '2025 MelOn Music Awards' (MMA 2025). Kai said, 'Even though it was our 14th year since debut, I was nervous. It was also a long-awaited award ceremony, and when 'Monster', 'The Eve', and 'Growl' played, it felt like a concert with everyone singing together.' He shared, 'Really, everyone there was doing “We Are One” and “Chohaja.”' Before going on stage, Kai said he talked with D.O. about performing on stage with a happy feeling, saying, 'I was really happy. The strongest feeling I had while doing solo activities was, “I want to stand on stage with the members soon.” That finally came true. Recently, every time I stand on stage as EXO, I have to immerse myself in the concept, but I can't help but smile.' When D-LITE asked why EXO didn't appear at the artist seats during the 'MMA 2025', Suho explained, 'This time, there were no awards, and there was no album activity, so we talked about quietly performing on stage and then going home.' Kai added, 'Honestly, that stage was done just for EXO-L (the name of the fans). We performed to protect the EXO-L who waited for us. While it is important to sit at the artist seats and celebrate the stages of our juniors, our main goal was to protect our fans.' They also shared stories from the after-party. Previously, a photo of Suho and Kai crying became a topic of discussion, but Kai clarified, 'Suho hyung had been drinking quite a bit. In the photo, I look like I'm crying too, but I wasn't actually crying. He was leaning on me and crying.' He continued, 'I felt so good that even though he usually only drinks wine, he was drinking bomb shots. He got so hyped up that he was hugging everyone and saying, (while banging the table) “Let's trust each other!”' When asked how much he remembered about that, Suho shyly replied, 'I remember everything. But in fragments...' Kai revealed, 'He probably thinks he cried beautifully, but he also kissed Chanyeol hyung. He suddenly kissed me.' Suho added, 'Chanyeol did that to me. He knelt down saying, “Sorry, thank you,” then stood up and suddenly kissed me.' When D-LITE touched on the hit song 'MAMA', known for its orthodox SMP (SM Music Performance), Kai confessed, 'Honestly, it was very embarrassing to perform. I kept using superpowers, praying to God, and criticizing society, saying I was trapped in 0s and 1s,' making everyone laugh. The title track of EXO's recently released 8th full album 'REVERXE', 'Crown', is also in the SMP genre. Suho introduced it as 'the most SMP we've ever had. It's quite an intense SMP song.' Kai explained, 'The performance goes to the limit, and the lyrics are unique. Isn't this the origin? Unique lyrics in SMP, and superpowers. We went back to our roots. We have to do “We Are One Chohaja.” We are using it generously.' When D-LITE asked how the members' unity was after gathering again, Suho laughed and said, 'It was the most conflicted we've ever been.' He explained, 'That just shows how serious everyone was. Everyone's will was very strong, and we were saying, “Isn't this song more fitting for us now?”' Kai added, 'Since we reunited after individual activities, we had forgotten each other's patterns.' Suho said, 'In the end, as a leader, I organized it once and said, after the 'MMA', crying, “Let's trust each other.”' When D-LITE suggested trying to live together again, Kai replied, 'I once suggested doing it. Then everyone said no. Every time we appear on a show, we still talk about old dorm stories. It's about time we update it. So I said let's all live together, but we still haven't gotten everyone's agreement.'
