BLACKPINK's Rosé missed winning at the Grammy Awards. On the 1st (local time), the 68th Grammy Awards were held at the Crypto.com Arena in LA. At the ceremony, Rosé and Bruno Mars' collaboration song 'APT.' was nominated in three categories including 'Song of the Year,' 'Record of the Year,' and 'Best Pop Duo/Group Performance,' but did not win. The OST 'Golden' from the Netflix movie 'KPOP Girls! Demon Hunters,' which was released last year and caused a syndrome, won in the 'Best Song Written For Visual Media' category. The songwriters EJAE, TEDDY, 24, and IDO (Lee Yuhan, Kwak Jungkyu, Nam Hidon) earned the title of Grammy winners. While there have been cases of Korean music engineers and overseas activists winning, this is the first time K-POP composers and producers have won a Grammy, drawing further attention. Additionally, KATSEYE, formed through a global girl group audition by HYBE and Geffen Records, was nominated for 'Best New Artist' and 'Best Pop Duo/Group Performance' just over a year and a half after debuting, but did not win.
