EXO's Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin (EXO-CBX) commented on the position statement announced by SM Entertainment yesterday (29th). Their agency INB100 released a statement on the 30th, saying, 'This is INB100's response to SM's official comment.' According to this, INB100 stated, 'The three have not changed their intention to pay 10% of sales, and since a lawsuit is ongoing, they plan to fulfill this once a settlement is reached and legal procedures are completed.' They also mentioned, 'All discussions were conducted with the premise of activities as a complete EXO. The three have clarified their intention to fulfill the existing agreement and have been making efforts to communicate directly with the members to work together as part of the group.' Furthermore, they stated, 'The three conveyed their intention to pay 10% of individual activity sales to SM around the court's adjustment date and were waiting for a final response. However, the amount proposed by the mediator on October 2 was an arbitrary calculation unrelated to both parties' agreement, and both sides made it clear at that time that they could not accept it. After the relevant amount was delivered in writing, both parties similarly filed objections on October 16. This was a measure based on normal procedures, and the claim that the three do not have a willingness to settle is not true.' They emphasized, 'The three will sincerely fulfill the existing agreement and do their best to restore trust with the members and to negotiate amicably with SM.' On the 30th, SM stated, 'We are in a situation where we have won all disputes so far, and what we requested from the three was simply to provide 10% of the individual activity sales amount stipulated in the existing agreement dated June 18, 2023.' They clarified, 'However, this has not yet been fulfilled.' INB100 stated, 'After the secondary adjustment date (October 2), the three accepted all conditions presented by SM for a complete EXO comeback at the end of the year and communicated their willingness to agree.' They added, 'To prepare for activities as a complete group, they cleared their personal schedules for December and were waiting for SM's final response through their legal representatives.' In response, SM pointed out, 'Unlike the three's claim that they accepted all conditions we presented after the secondary adjustment date on October 2 and clearly communicated their willingness to agree, there is a history of them filing objections on the 16th.' They expressed, 'We cannot help but feel great regret over the three's announcement that distorts such circumstances.' • EXO's Baekhyun, Xiumin, and Chen, SM's rebuttal to the agreement statement: 'Complete group and this agreement are separate issues.' • EXO's Baekhyun, Xiumin, and Chen, sudden agreement statement amid conflict with SM.
