"Max Mara" will hold its brand exhibition "THE MAX!" at Ginza Sony Park from Tuesday, November 3, 2026, to Monday, November 9, to commemorate its 75th anniversary. Prior to the public opening, an opening reception was held on Monday, November 2. On the day, a photo call was held by glamorous guests including EJ and FUMA (&TEAM), UTA, Ichikawa Somegoro, Ueno Mizuka, Takizawa Makiko, Nakamura Anne, Non, Hikorohi, Hotta Mayu, Honda Tsubasa, Mori Hikari, and Laura (in Japanese syllabary order), who wore Max Mara's latest collection and celebrated the holding of this exhibition. Since its founding in 1951, Max Mara has created wardrobes loved across generations through outstanding tailoring and innovative craftsmanship. In this exhibition, the brand's heritage, the philosophy of clothing-making that has been passed down for 75 years, and creativity that continues into the future are introduced through a variety of displays. At the venue, Max Mara's iconic teddy bear serves as a guide, leading visitors into the world of "THE MAX!" while blending digital and real elements. In addition, contents for visitors to enjoy will be offered, such as a museum shop selling limited items available only at the exhibition and a workshop using "red thread," which is also connected to the origin of the brand's craftsmanship. EJ (&TEAM) appeared wearing the iconic "teddy bear coat" with camel-colored gloves, and spoke about the points of the coordination, saying, "I think it's a coat that is warm and light, and can keep you warm even in this cold winter. I think the warm camel color is also a point." FUMA (&TEAM) appeared wearing a camel-colored coat with black gloves, and when asked what he would like to do by the end of the year, he said, "Live performances will continue, but I want to get through them safely, and personally, I hope I can put more effort into vocals in the last two months. I want to practice more and show a more improved version of myself next year. I want to make sure I complete the tour I'm doing now, and with that tour as encouragement, I hope to fly out into a more global world. Please continue to support us!" He also revealed his aspirations for next year. UTA appeared in an elegant coat style with a distinctive neckline, and commented on this brand exhibition, saying, "It's completely different from the venues I've visited before, and it has a maze-like, warehouse-like factory feel, so I thought that those aspects would also be enjoyable spatially." Ichikawa Somegoro appeared wearing an impressive red coat, and about the points of his coordination he said, "Personally, I like formal fashion, like a set-up suit style, and this time too, it's a suit set-up. This exhibition has red as a theme, or rather, it is used as an impressive color, and since I don't often get to wear such a flashy coat, it feels very fresh, but kabuki also often uses red as an impressive color, so in that sense I was very happy to be able to wear red in Western clothing." Ueno Mizuka appeared in a white dress paired with a baby-pink "Whitney bag." She spoke about the kind of woman she admires, saying, "The kind of woman that Max Mara has supported for 75 years, the so-called independent woman, is truly cool and admirable to me, but I think women who have a certain cuteness, charm, or charming elements within that are even more wonderful." Takizawa Makiko appeared in a stylish red coat. When asked what coat she would like to wear this autumn and winter, she commented, "The coat was also displayed symbolically at the exhibition. I'm wearing a red coat today too, and this year I want to try such a vivid red." Nakamura Anne appeared in an all-black style with a striking gold necklace around her neck, and spoke about the exhibition, saying, "I looked at many archives and touched on the beginnings and the history of women who worked hard step by step, and I felt that I want to be able to wear Max Mara's clothes with even more respect." When asked what she wanted to do by the end of the year, she commented, "I am also in my last year in my 30s this year, so I want to declutter by the end of the year. I am still doing it little by little, but I want to leave only the things that are truly important, the things I want to spend the next 10 years with, and welcome the new year." Non appeared in a beige set-up with a defined waist, and when asked about the coordination, she said, "I think Max Mara's sophisticated tailoring and the mood of modern sports elegance are very cool. I think the exotic design is interesting because it is different from the usual Max Mara mood, and I especially like this belt today because it is impressive." Hikorohi appeared in an elegant coat and jacket in khaki tones, and when asked about the brand's appeal, she said, "I think it's cool and handsome. I think it also has cute and elegant aspects, but including that. Also, I think it's a brand that is helpful because it is easy to move in and practical in terms of usability." Hotta Mayu appeared in a distinctive jacquard-patterned top and a mini skirt above the knees, and when asked about the kind of woman she finds wonderful, she said, "I think it's a woman who has a strong core within her flexibility. While listening to the voices around her, I want to become a woman who has the strength to believe in the important feelings within herself and keep moving forward." Honda Tsubasa appeared wearing the camel-colored "Lady Coat," and spoke about the points of the new coat, saying, "It's made of camel hair, and it's very light and adds elegance to a natural style; it's an easy-to-wear coat that fits the body well." In addition, when asked what she wanted to do by the end of the year, she revealed, "In the second half of this year, I've been working hard on dieting, and I have the feeling that I want to do my best and finish it by the end of the year." Mori Hikari appeared in a bright red dress sparkling with sequins, paired with bright red gloves. When asked about the brand's history of supporting women's success and independence, she commented, "When I saw the 75th anniversary exhibition in Shanghai this June, I was able to experience the brand's philosophy. Coming to Japan this time, it is a special exhibition where you can see up close designs inspired by kimono and design details, and at the same time, it is the trajectory the brand has taken. Starting from a small dressmaking school, being able to touch on such family connections and personal aspects through this exhibition is very meaningful, and it gave me courage, including myself, to keep walking toward my dreams step by step from small things." Laura appeared in a white mini-skirt style with a black belt, and spoke about what she wants to do by the end of the year, saying, "I'm really into tea right now, and since I moved, I want to make one room into a tea room and create an atmosphere where I can practice anytime. By this winter!" ■ Exhibition overview "THE MAX!"
