On November 17, WITH US Entertainment (hereafter, WITH US) revealed, "We have recently signed an exclusive contract with HUI," and stated, "We will spare no musical support to strengthen his identity as a solo musician and producer." HUI debuted in 2016 as the leader of the group PENTAGON and has emerged as a singer-songwriter and producer while engaging in idol activities, gaining love from global music fans. He has proven his skills as a composer by creating many hit songs for PENTAGON, as well as K-POP representative songs like Wanna One's 'Energetic' and 'NEVER.' Last year, he released his first solo album 'WHU IS ME: Complex,' solidifying his position as a solo artist. His lyrical style, covering a spectrum of genres including pop, ballad, R&B, and trot, has been praised for building significant commercial power. As he enters his 10th year since debut, HUI has formed a resonant bond with WITH US, aiming to show his growth process through music, leading to this exclusive contract. As an artist who leads production beyond vocals and stage, HUI plans to create musical depth through diverse activities.
