Lotte Duty Free announced today (the 9th) that they have once again appointed aespa as their global model. This marks about two years since they were first appointed as a model in 2022. Recently, Lotte Duty Free released a teaser video titled 'Who's Next?' through their official SNS, hinting at a new model. They then officially announced aespa's joining. Following the previously released KickFlip and Hearts2Hearts, aespa has joined to further strengthen the lineup of K-POP artist models. Debuting in 2020, aespa has secured global popularity with hit songs like 'Next Level', 'Supernova', 'Armageddon', and 'Whiplash', expanding their fan base overseas through world tours. Lotte Duty Free's strategy is to utilize aespa's influential fandom in Japan, the Chinese-speaking world, and Southeast Asia to enhance the effectiveness of attracting foreign tourists. In the future, they plan to develop outdoor advertisements centered around aespa, KickFlip, and Heart2Hearts at major stores such as the Myeongdong flagship store and World Tower store, and expand their SNS-based digital campaigns. Marketing content featuring the models, including video content and merchandise, will also be gradually released at 17 stores both domestically and internationally.
