It was reported that EXO's Baekhyun would transfer to BIGBANG's G-DRAGON's agency, but it has been found to be untrue. Today (22nd) afternoon, Galaxy Corporation clarified through an official comment that 'the exclusive contract with Baekhyun is not true.' Prior to this, news had reported a high possibility of Baekhyun transferring to Galaxy Corporation. This agency includes G-DRAGON, SHINee's Taemin, actor Song Kang-ho, and singer Kim Jong-kook. Notably, Taemin has a connection with Baekhyun, as they both were previously with SM Entertainment and were part of the One Hundred label. Baekhyun is set to establish an independent label 'INB100' in 2024, starting anew with members Chen and Xiumin. During this process, they clashed with SM Entertainment, filing lawsuits against them for reasons such as 'failure to provide settlement materials' and 'unfair contracts,' but lost. Meanwhile, INB100 was absorbed as a subsidiary of One Hundred led by CEO Cha Ga-won, allowing Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin (EXO-CBX) to continue their activities. However, recently issues like unpaid settlement funds from One Hundred have arisen, and it has been reported that the three sent a notice of contract termination to CEO Cha Ga-won.
