Yesterday (21st), RM posted a long message on the fan community platform Weverse, saying, 'I would like to express my gratitude to everyone who supported the Gwanghwamun performance.' On this day, BTS held 'BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE: ARIRANG' at Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul. Having made a full comeback after 3 years and 9 months, it was their first stage performance, attracting great interest even before the event. According to the city of Seoul, around 40,000 to 42,000 people gathered near Gwanghwamun at 8 PM. RM injured his ankle during rehearsal and performed with some limitations. After the performance, he represented BTS and said, 'After a long time of 4 years, the 7 of us gathered again and faced everyone in this meaningful space of Gwanghwamun. I want to express my gratitude to everyone who sent us their unwavering support and consideration to ensure our comeback stage could be held safely.' He continued, 'First, I thank the police, firefighters, government, and local officials for making it possible to hold the comeback performance at Gwanghwamun Square and for their efforts to ensure it was a safe event without major accidents amidst the large crowd. I sincerely apologize and thank the citizens who endured inconveniences such as traffic control and noise, as well as those doing business in the Gwanghwamun area and office workers. I will never take the warm consideration that accepted our performance for granted and will engrave it deeply in my heart for a long time.' He also stated that ARMY (BTS's fans) is their greatest pride, expressing gratitude and saying, 'This Gwanghwamun performance is not just ours, the 7 members of BTS. It was a stage completed by the hard work of those who took responsibility for safety, the warm understanding of the citizens, and the unwavering love of ARMY.' He added, 'We will not forget the great love and cheers you sent us and will create even greater emotions and wonderful music in the ongoing journey of BTS. I was truly happy.' After finishing the large-scale comeback performance at Gwanghwamun, BTS will meet fans at the Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium on the 9th, 11th, and 12th of next month for 'BTS WORLD TOUR 'ARIRANG'. Following this, they plan to perform in a total of 34 cities across Asia, North America, Latin America, and Europe.
