Previously, the Seoul Regional Tax Office's Investigation Bureau 4 notified Cha Eun-woo of a tax reassessment of about 20 billion won. Regarding this case, Fantagio commented, 'The main point of contention is whether the corporation established by Cha Eun-woo's mother is subject to substantial taxation, and this is not a finalized or announced case yet. We plan to actively explain the issues regarding legal interpretation and application according to proper procedures.' Furthermore, they stated, 'If legal and administrative judgments become clear in the future, we will responsibly implement necessary measures based on the results. However, we sincerely request that speculation and unverified information regarding some claims and suspicions be refrained from excessive interpretation.' They also conveyed, 'We will take this incident as an opportunity to re-examine the management system of our affiliated artists and do our best to strengthen and complement necessary systems to prevent similar discussions from reoccurring in the future.'
