Former April member Naeun will star in the new drama "Eye Shopping." Her agency NAMOO ACTORS announced on January 31st in an interview with OSEN that "Naeun will appear in the drama 'Eye Shopping'." "Eye Shopping" is an action thriller that depicts the survival and revenge of children refunded to foster parents. It is based on a web manga of the same name, and deals with illegal adoption cartels that buy and sell children abandoned by their parents, as well as providing a service to refund the child for free if they are not satisfied with raising them. In this drama, Naeun will play the role of Somi, one of the refunded children. Actresses Om Jung-ah, Wong Jina, and DEX (Kim Jin-young) have already been confirmed to appear. Naeun is expected to take on the main role of revenge as Somi. After debuting as a member of April in April 2015, she built her career as an actress by appearing in tvN's "Everyone's Romance," PLAYLIST's "A-TEEN," and MBC's "The Haru I Found by Chance." However, in February 2020, bullying suspicions arose within the group, leading to her departure from SBS's "Model Taxi" and announcing a hiatus from activities. Subsequently, April announced its disbandment in April 2022. Naeun signed an exclusive contract with NAMOO ACTORS and transitioned to acting. Particularly recently, she announced her return to activities by confirming her appearance in the SBS Friday-Saturday drama "Chaebol x Detective," and is expected to play a major role in "Eye Shopping" as well.
