MONSTA X's Shownu has been selected as the new model for McDonald's in Korea. The global burger brand "McDonald's" released a new TV commercial featuring him today (5th) and announced the news of his model selection. The commercial, set to The Platters' "Only you," shows Shownu performing various acts with actor Kim Gwangyu and comedian Lee Eunji. In the commercial, Shownu expresses falling in love while eating the improved Max Spicy Shanghai Burger after working out hard. With polished visuals, a bright smile, and toned muscles from exercise, he captivates fans worldwide. Shownu will continue various activities as a model for McDonald's in the future. He is currently playing the role of the charming soldier Anatole in the musical "Great Comet," which will run until the 16th of this month, leading the production with a high-quality performance despite it being his first musical challenge.
