RM thanks BTS members for 14 years together, shares insights on their recent LA sessions, and reflects on their strong bond.

BTS (Bangtan Sonyeondan) RM expressed his gratitude to the members he has walked with for 14 years. Today (28th), a video titled 'BTS RM, waiting for the choppal in Jangchundong with V' was posted on Moon Sang-hoon’s YouTube channel 'BDNS'. Moon Sang-hoon talked with RM and V, who were preparing for their comeback at that time. When asked about the background of their song camp in Los Angeles after all members were discharged, RM said, 'Jin and J-Hope worked hard to maintain the brand by actively participating in activities on our behalf.' He continued, 'I was initially hesitant when asked to go to Los Angeles right after discharge to have a two-month session together, but I agreed. This way, we ended up living together for the first time in seven years. It was great to share a house again after we all became independent around 2018 or 2019.' He added, 'Having lived with about 20 people in the military already, there might be times when it gets annoying, but the events that occurred while managing together in the military and the exchanges we had reminded me of how good it was. Living together was very good.' RM revealed, 'I think some people are concerned about the schedule, so to be precise, we worked six days a week.' He described the studio in LA, saying, 'When you think of a studio, you usually imagine a gloomy recording room in a building's basement, but in LA, there are studios with four or five buildings outdoors. One building becomes one studio. We rented that studio for two months and rotated through four rooms. Six days a week, we usually woke up in the morning, exercised together, had lunch at 1 PM, went to the studio around 2 PM, and worked in our respective rooms from 2 PM to 8 PM. We worked with songwriters, producers, and newcomers. Over 100 songs were archived in two months, and we decided to select 14 from them. Occasionally at night, we would drink together and talk.' Upon hearing this, Moon Sang-hoon said, 'What you just said will make ARMY (the fanbase) very happy.' He added, 'Parents say that the most proud thing is when siblings get along. With the members deepening their bonds again, we can expect even more from this album.' In response, RM said, 'It is really difficult to continue together for 14 years without any member leaving. The members are really kind.' He expressed his feelings towards the members, saying, 'In my view, the members are truly considerate, have great affection for each other, and above all, the desire to convey something to ARMY works simultaneously to maintain our bond, which is overwhelming.' V shared about life in Los Angeles, saying, 'I had to make work a habit,' and added, 'While living there for two months, I had to go to the studio continuously to brainstorm ideas, create melodies, and generate themes for lyrics, which was a new and fun experience. The environment in LA was also interesting.' RM also expressed satisfaction, saying, 'I didn't know the weather could affect people this much. There wasn't a single day of rain or clouds in two months.' BTS will release their 5th full album 'ARIRANG' on the 20th and will make a complete comeback as a group for the first time in about three years and nine months. After that, they will hold a comeback live performance at Gwanghwamun Square on the 21st and continue their world tour starting with the 'BTS WORLD TOUR “ARIRANG” IN GOYANG' performance at the Goyang Comprehensive Sports Complex Main Stadium from April 9 to 12.
