Kep1er's Yongun announced her departure from the group. It was made clear that Kep1er will continue activities as a 6-member group. On March 6, Kep1er's agencies WAKEONE and KLAP Entertainment stated through their official channel, "Kep1er will continue activities with Yujin, Xiaoting, Chaehyun, Dayeon, Hikaru, and Huening Bahiyyih as a 6-member group," and clarified that Yongun, who has shared an important journey as a member since their debut in 2022, will end her team activities. The agency stated, "The members of Kep1er respect Yongun's wishes based on mutual trust and support her," adding, "We are grateful to Yongun, who has worked sincerely and passionately as a team member, and we wholeheartedly support her future activities." Yongun announced a hiatus due to health issues on July 14, 2025. At that time, the agency revealed, "Yongun has not been feeling well recently and has been diagnosed by medical staff as needing sufficient stability and rest," and "Prioritizing the artist's health, after discussions with her doctor and our company, we decided she would take a break for the time being. Yongun will find it difficult to participate in upcoming schedules, including the comeback activities in August." Kep1er is a project girl group formed through 'Girls Planet 999' and has been loved by fans domestically and internationally since their debut in 2022.
