Netflix's new drama 'Beauty in the Beast (tentative title)' apologized for causing inconvenience during filming. The production company Studio 329 stated on April 4 that the filming team conducted shoots on April 1 and 2 at the famous cherry blossom spot in Geumdong, Busan. They explained that the filming proceeded after sending official documents to relevant departments, including the Busan District Office and Busan District Police Station, requesting cooperation. They continued, 'Following procedures, we deployed management personnel, including police officers, and took necessary measures for site regulation. However, we deeply apologize for the inconvenience caused as filming took place during a time when many people visited to enjoy the cherry blossoms.' They added, 'In the future, we will do our best to minimize inconvenience by considering the surrounding environment and the impact on citizens more carefully during filming.' Recently, social media and online communities have posted complaints about the filming of the Netflix drama at the cherry blossom street known as Kaegum-dong, stating that the main cherry blossom avenue was restricted, causing inconvenience. Authors expressed dissatisfaction with the lack of prior notice regarding the restrictions and mentioned that the presence of filming equipment from the preparation stage made it difficult for citizens and tourists to move around.
