ABC-MART will release FILA’s new model, "DISTRACER CHECK," from the "DISTRACER" series, at ABC-MART stores nationwide and the official online store from Thursday, September 17, 2026. In the visual movie released on the same day, the five-member K-pop girl group ILLIT has been cast. Through playful direction in which unexpected events occur every time a cube is turned, the movie strikingly depicts ILLIT’s free and charming appeal and FILA’s shoes. In addition, along with the release of interview footage about the key points of each member’s coordination, a campaign will also be carried out in which an original "ILLIT" sticker will be given in limited quantities only to those who purchase eligible products. ■ "ILLIT" shows off thick-soled shoes with a gingham check design In the new "DISTRACER CHECK," a fresh gingham check design is incorporated into the lining (the inside of the shoe opening) and the insole, updating it to give it a cuter and more trendy impression. With its eye-catching thick-soled, voluminous silhouette and the check pattern peeking out, it goes well not only with standard casual styles, but also with girly coordinates and trendy Korean-style fashion, making it a versatile pair that can create a current look from the feet up. For this visual, ILLIT has been used again, following the previous time. The five members in colorful coordinates express, through a unique video in a mysterious world where the speed of movement and sense of size change every time a cube is turned, the high versatility of this product, which matches any coordination, as well as its strong presence. In the interview, the members praised it as a versatile shoe that blends in with highly individual items such as a pink skirt, a sky-blue top, and a flower-patterned top, and can create sportiness, trendiness, and style. In the coming autumn and winter season, as more coordinates with subdued colors increase, it will be a pair that subtly adds cuteness to the feet. ■ Visual movie ILLIT members gather in a pure white studio. Wonhee, who appears from inside an old cathode-ray tube television, asks, "Want to turn it once? No one knows what will happen," and the story begins. When the members turn the "cube" they hold, words such as "JUMP," "BIG," "COPY," and "SLOW" appear one after another, and the rules of the space change according to those words. In "JUMP," the shoes and members float in the air; in "BIG," the size of the people and shoes changes; in "COPY," the members multiply one after another; and in "SLOW," the movement becomes slow motion, creating a unique world that would be impossible in reality. Starting from the words born from the cube, the strange world that changes one after another is depicted with ILLIT’s own cute and unique expression. ■ Product overview "DISTRACER CHECK" Price: 8,690 yen (tax included) Colors: White/Blue, White/Pink Sizes: 22.0 cm to 26.0 cm (in 0.5 cm increments) ★Second-wave limited novelty sticker Eligible product: FILA DISTRACER CHECK Eligible stores: ABC-MART stores nationwide, official online store Campaign period: From 00:00 on Thursday, September 17, 2026 *Ends as soon as supplies run out. ILLIT will release its 5th mini album BREAK EVEN on October 26. The album title, from the economic term break-even point, reflects a firm declaration to stop investing feelings and time in an unrewarding relationship. After major hits in Korea and Japan, the group is set for an encore tour.
ILLIT’s Minju won fans over with a cover of Lee Hyori’s classic “10 Minutes,” released on the group’s official YouTube channel. She reinterpreted the song in an R&B style, adding delicate vocals, expressive groove, and Y2K-inspired visuals. BELIFT LAB said she also took part in vocal direction and chorus recording. Minju said she wanted to sing a song she loves in her own voice. ILLIT will hold an encore concert in Incheon next month after sold-out tour stops in Seoul, five Japanese cities, and Hong Kong.
