i-dle brilliantly colored the night in Tokyo and proved their global presence. i-dle successfully held their Japan tour '2025 (G)I-DLE FIRST JAPAN TOUR [逢い-dle]' on October 4 and 5 at Saitama Super Arena. The concert title '逢い-dle' means 'an adventure to meet NEVERLAND (the fans' nickname)', expressing their first Japan tour from Saitama to Kobe. On this day, i-dle opened with the title track 'どうしよっかな' from their first Japanese EP 'i-dle', which was released after their name change, on a stage with five large screens connected to add depth, creating special memories with local fans through a setlist that covered their eight years of musical journey since debut. They created a 'reverse myth'. They performed the Japanese version of their hit song 'Fate', '傷つくのは嫌いだから', along with representative hits like 'Klaxon', 'Wife', 'Girlfriend', 'Allergy', 'Never Stop Me', 'MY BAG', 'TOMBOY', 'Good Thing', and songs from the Japanese EP '愛せなかった世界へ永遠にじゃあね', 'Invincible', 'Queencard (Japanese ver.)', and the encore song 'どうしよっかな (arranged ver.)', wrapping the venue in their unique energetic vibe. Solo and unit stages followed. Miyoung covered '永遠前夜 / Forever Eve' from the popular Japanese drama 'Glass Heart', showcasing her delicate sensibility. Soyeon transformed into a punk rock girl, passionately singing 'Butter-Fly', the OST from the animation 'Digimon Adventure', along with her guitar performance, receiving explosive reactions. A giant penlight that embodied the 'Digivice' added visual enjoyment to the stage. Minnie, Ugi, and Shuhua performed '愛♡スクリ~ム!' with a cute performance, which became a big hit in Japan this summer. The members shared their thoughts, saying, 'Although it was a two-day performance, it felt so short because every moment was fun and happy. We would be glad to have many more opportunities to meet in the future.' They concluded the concert with the fan song 'Neverland', gifting unforgettable memories to the fans. The venue was also attended by Akira Kawashima from Kirin, who had previously declared himself a fan, and First Summer Uika, who made a cameo in the music video for 'どうしよっかな'. The two shared their enjoyment of the live show through their SNS stories, generating buzz. Following the Saitama concert, i-dle is set to meet their Japanese fans at World Memorial Hall (Kobe) on the 18th and 19th.
