The '2025 MelOn Music Awards' (hereafter 'MMA 2025') denied allegations of forced ticket cancellations. Today (the 4th), a representative of 'MMA 2025' revealed, 'For the protection of users and stable service provision, we implemented cancellation measures based on Article 26 of the MelOn ticket terms (regulations against fraudulent purchases) for a limited number of customers who improperly used the service through abnormal access or operations.' They continued, 'Refund processing for this fraudulent reservation has been completed. There are no facts as pointed out by some, such as cancellations of normally made reservations or that refunds were not received.' They emphasized, 'We possess all relevant evidence materials and inform you that full refunds and cancellation processing have been carried out based on them.' Prior to this, multiple posts on social media had circulated about ticket cancellations for 'MMA 2025,' attracting attention. Many internet users expressed confusion, stating, 'I secured my own ticket, but suddenly received a cancellation email,' and 'Why was my ticket canceled without explanation or refund?' They reported that they received notifications stating their purchased tickets were treated as fraudulent cancellations. However, there is a discrepancy between the claims of internet users and MelOn tickets, and dissatisfaction from users continues.
