Korean rock band CNBLUE, active worldwide, has decided to hold a joint live performance with Japan's representative rock band UVERworld in Japan and Korea, titled "UVERworld & CNBLUE SUMMER LIVE IN JAPAN and KOREA ~UNLIMITED CHALLENGE~". From the live title meaning "UNLIMITED CHALLENGE", it can be felt that the two groups, who have been constantly challenging since their debut, are joining forces to take on something new. In fact, this will be UVERworld's first performance in Korea and CNBLUE's first live in a joint band format. Attention is drawn to the chemistry between UVERworld, who has been at the forefront of the band scene in Japan since their debut, and CNBLUE, who debuted in Korea and has been active worldwide, including in Japan. UVERworld made their major debut in 2005. They have consistently stuck to their music beliefs from live houses to arena-class and dome-class venues. On July 29th and 30th, 2023, they will hold their first and largest live performance, a 2-day live at Nissan Stadium. The "Men's Festival" started with a 200-person live and gradually grew to gather 70,000 people at Nissan Stadium. For them, the "Men's Festival" shows that "music" is something that teaches and convinces them that gender, nationality, and age are all meaningless. CNBLUE debuted in Korea in 2010. After making their major debut in Japan in 2011, they achieved first place on the Oricon Weekly Chart with their first Japanese album released in 2012, and held their first arena tour, including two days at Saitama Super Arena, in the same year. In 2013, they successfully completed their first world tour, including Asia, America, South America, and Australia, which became a hot topic. Now in their 14th year since debut, they are currently conducting a successful Asia tour. They have been energetically active with CD releases and live tours since their debut. This joint live performance, a first for both groups, will be held in Japan and Korea. Ticket pre-sales for the Japan performance will start on April 16th (Tue). Ticket details for the Korea performance will be announced at a later date.
