ENHYPEN sent a message to fans after Heeseung's departure. Today (11th), ENHYPEN posted a long message through their official account saying, 'ENGENE (ENHYPEN's fans), you must have been very surprised by today's announcement.' They revealed, 'We were most worried about how ENGENE would feel. It pains us to see ENGENE worried and suffering because ENHYPEN exists for ENGENE.' They continued, 'The time we have spent together has been so precious that it cannot be expressed in words. Therefore, we respect and support Heeseung's choice and new start.' They added, 'To reduce ENGENE's worries and create happy days for ENGENE, we, ENHYPEN, will grow even more from now on. We will be stronger to always be a proud ENHYPEN for our precious ENGENE who supports us anywhere, anytime, and we will not forget to be grateful in every moment. Thank you always. We love you, ENGENE.' Prior to this, their agency BELIFT LAB announced, 'Each member deeply discussed their future and the direction of the team, confirming Heeseung's clear musical aspirations, and decided to respect this. Accordingly, Heeseung will become independent from ENHYPEN, and ENHYPEN will continue to operate as a six-member group for future official schedules.' Heeseung also revealed through a handwritten letter, 'After sharing the results of our work with the company and discussing for a long time how to present it, I made a big decision to follow the direction suggested by the company to approach ENGENE in a better way after much deliberation.'
