The Japanese-Taiwanese boy group BUGVEL is ending their activities. Today (30th), through their official SNS, they announced "Notice regarding BUGVEL" and stated, "We have reached the conclusion to end BUGVEL's future activities." They continued, "After the stage on October 30, we held multiple meetings with new company representatives to discuss future paths and contract details. During this process, RAIRA was unable to agree to the contract terms, leading to this conclusion." They also expressed, "We want to respect the choices of our companions who have walked together for 5 years, which led to this decision," and apologized for the manner of this announcement. Additionally, they conveyed, "While BUGVEL's activities will come to a close here, the warm support we received from REBRA (the fan name) over these 5 years has been a truly important support for the members. We sincerely thank you for your support so far." Finally, they added, "From now on, each of us will move on to new paths, and we would be grateful if you could continue to watch over us warmly." Prior to this, BUGVEL held a one-man live concert at Tokyo's Zepp Divercity on October 30, the anniversary of their debut. They had been developing a new project called "BUGVEL THE JUDGMENT," which hinged on whether their 7th single would sell out, determining their future as a group. BUGVEL consists of MAHIRO and GUNO, who appeared on the audition programs "YG Treasure Box" and "PRODUCE X 101" in Korea, and MINATO and RAIRA, who appeared on Japan's "PRODUCE 101 JAPAN."
