NCT’s Yuta finally visits Mongolian Tanmen Nakamoto, tastes the ramen for the first time, and praises its flavor, texture, and spice.

NCT’s Yuta (real name: Yuta Nakamoto) visited the Mongolian Tanmen Nakamoto shop he had long wished to go to and was moved by the ramen. Yuta recently posted a video titled “My First Mongolian Tanmen Nakamoto” on his YouTube channel “YutaTube.” In this video, he said, “At last, I have come to Mongolian Tanmen Nakamoto with full anticipation,” revealing that he was visiting the shop for the first time, even though he had been eating Mongolian Tanmen Nakamoto only as cup ramen until now. On this day, Yuta appeared wearing a Mongolian Tanmen Nakamoto hoodie and cap, which can be exchanged for with points at the shop, and showed how much he liked them, saying, “Aren’t these super good? Don’t they really suit me? They look like a name tag, right? They’re so cute.” When he entered the shop, Shirane, the deputy manager, told Yuta, who said he had an important performance a few days later, “You should probably avoid the Hokkyoku,” and recommended the miso tanmen and set meal. Smiling and saying, “I’m happy I finally got to come,” Yuta caused laughter by revealing, “The members also love it, and everyone likes it so much that when they come to Japan, they absolutely buy the cup ramen to take back home. So I kept lying, saying, ‘He’s my dad.’ I’d say in a serious tone, ‘Actually, in Japan, my dad makes ramen.’ And Jungwoo believed that for about three years.” He also said, “I’ve been eating it since the early days of our debut, and above all, because the name is the same. But I never had a chance to eat it at the shop. He’s the world’s most famous Nakamoto-kun!” making Yuta laugh. Yuta said, “I always wanted to come here someday and also wanted to collaborate. I think the fans are happy about this collaboration too,” and praised it, saying, “These are the slightly firm noodles I love, and the vegetables are super crisp too. This is amazing. I had only ever eaten the cup ramen, but you absolutely should come to the shop and eat it. It’s a completely different thing.” He then said, “It’s spicy, but because it has richness and umami, I can eat it all easily. I think the appeal of spicy food is the umami within the spiciness,” which pleased Shirane.
