Stray Kids released SKZ IT TAPE "DO IT" today (21st). This work, their first new release in about three months since the announcement of their 4th full album "KARMA" in August, shows Stray Kids' new attempts after seven years of various musical challenges. SKZ IT TAPE is a new genre where Stray Kids expresses what they want to showcase through music, depicting the moment of certainty "This is it!" The opening track "DO IT" carries a message of encouragement from Stray Kids to act boldly and confidently now. It also expresses their desire to create new "IT" while enjoying today. The album includes five tracks, starting with the double title songs "Do It" and "DIVINE," and also features "Holiday," "Photobook," and "Do It (Festival Version)." Once again, the group's production team 3RACHA (Bang Chan, Changbin, Han) handled all the tracks. Stray Kids, who returned as "modern-day sages," shared their thoughts on SKZ IT TAPE "DO IT" and the double title songs "Do It" and "DIVINE." -- Following the 4th full album "KARMA" in August, we achieve a super-fast comeback with SKZ IT TAPE "DO IT" after about three months. Please share your thoughts on this comeback. Lino: I wanted to repay the great love we received during the world tour quickly, which is why this comeback happened. I hope you enjoy the new album. Hyunjin: Although it's a super-fast comeback, I think the preparation process was no less than for a full album. I would be happy if the fans liked the album we worked hard on together. Felix: We're also looking forward to this comeback after three months. I can't wait to see STAY (the fan name). I.N: I might have surprised you with this super-fast comeback, but I'm grateful to STAY for welcoming this album with joy. The comeback is approaching, and I'm very excited. -- We're starting a new music series SKZ IT TAPE with this comeback; please introduce SKZ IT TAPE. Also, why does Stray Kids continue to showcase special named music series like the Mixtape Project from 2019 and last year's SKZHOP HIPTAPE? Changbin: I wanted to deliver another element that fans can look forward to with a music series different from full albums and mini-albums. We plan to incorporate distinctive elements unique to Stray Kids into the album name and showcase a more diverse side to our fans. Bang Chan: It's to deliver the diversity of Stray Kids' music and new challenges. We specially prepared this in our unique style. Han: We have a strong desire to connect our colors further. We wanted to show the evolved form of Stray Kids, which has deepened over time, with this music series SKZ IT TAPE. -- The first work that opens the SKZ IT TAPE is "DO IT," with double title songs "Do It" and "DIVINE." Why did you choose these two songs as double title songs, and what kind of image of Stray Kids do you want to show through each song? Lino: "Do It" is a song that encourages taking action rather than overthinking, and it contains interesting themes as a message to ourselves. "DIVINE" is a fresh hip-hop number, and I wanted to show that this is Stray Kids' unique "NEW POP." Seungmin: "Do It" expresses the message of challenging without hesitation, confidently and coolly. In "DIVINE," I want to show our rising tension in a more free atmosphere, as if we are playing. Both songs offer enjoyment not only in listening but also in viewing. Felix: The double title songs show a fresh and sophisticated yet relaxed appearance. I think the two songs with different charms express "the end of the year Stray Kids" well. -- The mysterious and heavy "modern-day sages" concept presented in the teaser content was very impressive. This comeback visual received a great response from STAY; what was the idea behind this concept? Also, which member do you think is most suitable for the modern-day sage in terms of visual and meaning? Han: After producing the song "DIVINE," we proceeded with the album work, but instead of showing "sages" literally, we arranged it to fit modern sensibilities, which led to the concept of "modern-day sages." In terms of visuals, I think Bang Chan is the most suitable for the modern-day sage. Hyunjin: We were able to express the unique colors of Stray Kids from previous albums in another form, and it seems that the fans were pleased. The member I think fits the modern-day sage the best is Seungmin because he loves Korean food! I.N: I'm happy that the concept expressed in Stray Kids' unique colors has pleased the fans. In that sense, I think all eight of us are most suitable for the modern-day sage because we all strive to become sage-like beings. -- The production team 3RACHA, consisting of Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han, participated in the production of all five songs again. When were the songs included in this album produced amid busy schedules like world tours and album activities? What aspects did you focus on during the production process, and are there any particularly memorable episodes? Changbin: Some songs were produced a long time ago, while others were created during the world tour. The most important point during the production process was how to express Stray Kids' identity anew. I especially remember fixing "DIVINE" in a hotel during the tour. Bang Chan: Even amid busy schedules, I think the ability to steadily work and meet deadlines is a great strength of 3RACHA. The three of us understand each other well, so the speed of work is fast, and we enjoy the production process. Han: Sometimes it feels like there's not enough time to create songs, but if you look closely, there’s surprisingly enough time. We prioritized making music without being particular about time and place. Honestly, in the beginning, it felt tough to create music continuously. But thanks to the experiences we've built up, I think it's a bit easier now. This album was produced casually, with many days spent talking about daily life and joking around while doing guide recordings. -- Amid busy schedules going back and forth between Korea and abroad, where do you find the motivation and source of ideas to showcase new music and performances? Bang Chan: The biggest motivation is Stray Kids and STAY. The desire to present our music beautifully on stage and the wish to become wonderful artists that STAY can be proud of are always my great strength and source of ideas. Lino: I would like to mention managing my physical strength. Staying healthy is the most important thing. Recently, I prioritize my physical management. Felix: I think it's the synergy and compatibility with the members. I always want to show STAY new sides of us, so we consult a lot with each other and share diverse opinions to create better things. Seungmin: I started this job because I truly love it, so even when tough moments come, the joy of the work and gratitude towards the fans give me the strength to keep moving forward. -- SKZ IT TAPE is an album that captures and depicts the moment of certainty "This is it!" Reflecting on the historic world tour that circled the earth seven times, achieving seven consecutive number ones on the Billboard 200, and holding a solo concert at a Korean stadium after seven years since debut, what moments do you think are worthy of shouting "This is it!"? Changbin: Above all, I would like to mention the "dominATE" tour. Since we held many performances in stadiums, I felt the scale every time I stood on stage, and my heart was full. Hyunjin: The passion and love of STAY that I felt during the stadium tour strongly come to mind. Seungmin: Through the world tour that took us around the globe, I was deeply impressed that we could directly face STAY in various countries and deliver our music more widely. Every moment on stage was happiness. I.N: The stadium tour was a dream for me, so it was a moment that made me want to shout "This is it!" -- In October, the curtain fell on the world tour "Stray Kids World Tour" at Incheon Asiad Main Stadium. As mentioned in the members' comments on the final day, it must have been a refreshing feeling along with a sense of accomplishment. Please share your thoughts on finishing this world tour and how you felt when you held your first solo concert at a Korean stadium. What does the encore performance in Incheon mean for Stray Kids? Also, if there are any thoughts that you couldn't convey on stage, please share them here. Lino: While traveling to various places that I might never have visited without the world tour, I realized, "We are truly receiving so much love," and that became a great motivation. The "dominATE" tour closed at Incheon Asiad Main Stadium, but I look forward to the day when I can meet STAY again in good spirits. Felix: We held the encore performance of the world tour at a Korean stadium. Although there was a lot of tension, I think we delivered the stage we prepared with love for STAY beautifully, and it remains as an irreplaceable memory in my heart. I.N: I can't believe I stood on stage in such a large venue. I was truly happy to be able to beautifully conclude the long journey of the "dominATE" tour. -- For Stray Kids, the "2025 End of Year To-do List" is to fully engage in activities with "DO IT" and spend happy times with STAY. Now, how about creating a "2025 End of Year To-do List for STAY"? With about a month left in 2025, please recommend what you want STAY to boldly challenge with confidence. Han: To stay healthy without injuries and to exercise. To properly keep the promises I made this year. Felix: Go shopping with STAY's friends and eat delicious food to the fullest! Seungmin: Making a Christmas tree. I haven't done it myself yet, but I think it would be a warm and fun time to decorate while chatting and eating delicious food. I.N: I want you to dive boldly into what you want to do without hesitation! -- 2025 was a year when we received more passionate love and support from STAY around the world than ever before. Please say a final word to the fans who always send us endless love and support. Bang Chan: The year is almost over. While recalling many memories from 2025, we will show you wonderful appearances until the end of the year. And together with STAY, we will move forward into 2026 with our heads held high. Lino: 2025 is also coming to an end, but it has felt like a busy year that passed by in the blink of an eye. I hope STAY had a happy year too. I wish for even better things to come to you next year! Changbin: I truly feel that this year was a year filled with love. I will meet you with even more wonderful activities to respond to that feeling! Thank you, STAY♡ Hyunjin: We prepared a lot, but I think we received more love from STAY than that. I am truly grateful and want to give back even more. Thank you! Han: I have never taken the support and love you send lightly. Thanks to STAY, I have been able to see beautiful sights and have various experiences. I will continue to prepare well to respond to everything STAY has given us. Thank you, STAY! Felix: STAY! There is little time left in 2025, but I pray that 2026 will be even happier and that we will receive a lot of love. Please continue to walk with us for a long time! Seungmin: Thanks to all the support and love you give, I feel like I am becoming a better version of myself every day. Thank you for making my 26th year shine. I hope 2025 will be a happy year for STAY too, and if it has been a tough and stagnant year, I hope you spend the end of 2025 without regrets. I.N: Thanks to STAY, I received a lot of love this year. I will continue to work hard to be someone who is loved. I will do my best in this activity too! Thank you!
