I deeply reflect on my immature behavior that lacked awareness as an idol, which hurt and confused many people.' She expressed gratitude to everyone who supported her as ME:I's SHIZUKU, saying, 'Thank you very much for everything until now.' KOKONA also apologized, saying, 'I have decided to end my activities as ME:I by the end of this year. I'm really sorry for surprising you with this sudden announcement.' She expressed gratitude to the fans, saying, 'Thank you very much for the love over the past two years and for showing me various scenery. It was a short time, but I could continue running this far thanks to YOU:ME and many supporters. I am truly grateful.' Earlier on the 22nd of this month, the agency announced through the official homepage that COCORO, RAN, SHIZUKU, and KOKONA would end their activities as ME:I upon the expiration of their exclusive management contract with LAPONE GIRLS on December 31, 2025. Fans expressed their sorrow on social media, saying, 'I'm sad and can't organize my feelings,' 'I want an explanation,' and 'I can't believe it.' ME:I officially debuted in April 2024 through the audition program 'PRODUCE 101 JAPAN THE GIRLS' and made their first appearance in the 'NHK Kouhaku Uta Gassen' in December of the same year. They continued to appear on music programs in Japan and Korea, actively engaging in activities. ME:I will continue with seven members: MOMONA, MIU, AYANE, KEIKO, RINON, SUZU, and TSUZUMI.
