The translation of the tweet is: "For now, Kim Ji-young is funny."
"I feel that 'Hachidori' is a movie that strongly lingers in the heart after watching. Just like 'Aftersun' and 'Kim Ji-young, Born 1982,' it delicately portrays human activities, which highlights the kindness and cruelty that coexist in people, as well as the unchanging cruelty of reality."
Born in '82, watching "Kim Ji-young." Wow... While not everything applies to everyone, I feel like anyone, regardless of which side they're on, can relate to some aspect of it. Instead of dragging each other down out of blame or jealousy, I wish everyone could just find it easier to live.

#Kena dislikes Korea and attends a screening. Kena moves from 🇰🇷 to 🇳🇿 due to social disparity, a sense of stagnation, and the difficulties of living in society. Ultimately, no matter where one is, they must think about happiness based on their own standards and live accordingly. Even while struggling in the new place, you want to support Kena who has taken that step. It's a story from Korea, but like Kim Ji-young, it resonates with Japanese society as well. I hope young people will watch this work. pic.x.com/3Epow9HkKY
The tweet translates to: "Just like 'Kim Ji-young, Born 1982,' the content is so relatable that I’m surprised it’s being taken as a major incident! It’s an incredible issue being raised! I somewhat envy that it’s being treated as such a big deal. In Japan, it would probably be seen as just a selfish complaint from a woman who doesn’t know anything or can’t do anything."
The story mostly progresses from Kena's perspective. If Kim Ji-young's story is about a woman "who has already gotten married," then Kena's story is about a woman who "can still explore other options." I think this will resonate a lot with college students and those in their twenties. Of course, I believe that older generations will also accept it with a sense of nostalgia and empathy.
"I watched 'Kim Ji-young, Born 1982.' I started watching it just because it starred Gong Yoo, but I never expected it to be about postpartum depression... For me, as someone who has recently given birth, it was quite a heavy topic 💧 But Gong Yoo's character as the husband was really nice, and I found myself feeling envious ꉂ🤣𐤔 (Is that what I should focus on?)"

The tweet translates to: "The bestselling novel by Cho Nam-joo from 2018, which was made into a movie in South Korea in 2019, is 'Kim Ji-young, Born 1982'?"
The tweet translates to: "Min Hee-jin is a problematic reporter who has been aggressive towards NewJeans and has written articles with poor fact-checking.
