In 2024, I attended 68 performances. In terms of categories, the top spot goes to ballet + contemporary, followed closely by music and theater. My best for ballet and contemporary is NDT. For music, both Okizawa's "Daphnis and Chloé" and Inoue Michiyoshi's Shostakovich were great. However, the best was Chung Myung-whun with the Tokyo Philharmonic in "The Rite of Spring." The spring festival also featured a great performance by Mukawa and Milstein in a duet. #2024best x.com/GorgeousSunnyD…

"6/26 Cho Myung-Hoon × Tokyo Philharmonic ⇒ One of my personal highlights of performances in 2024, Messiaen's Turangalîla Symphony featuring Keigo Mukawa (Pf) and the Japanese Mr. Turangalîla, Setsu Harada (Ond.m), can't possibly be bad. To be continued."
Here's the translation of the tweet: "Memorable concerts of 2024 that caught my attention: 2nd place on June 24th, Tokyo Philharmonic + Chung Myung-whun, Turangalîla: Suntory Regular Concert. It was like witnessing a nuclear reaction of sound happening inside a reactor called the concert hall! It felt like a science show, as if we were observing the manifestation of a musical energy ball! It was a concert that made me think that emotion is a chemical reaction."
Here is the translation of the tweet text: **[Best 10 of This Year] (Second Half)** - 9/19 Verdi's "Macbeth" (Chung Myung-whun / Tokyo Philharmonic) - 10/20 Mahler's Symphony No. 5 (Altinoglu / Hiroshima Symphony) - 11/20 Schoenberg's "Pelléas et Mélisande" (Koizumi Kazuhiro / Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony) - 11/24 Bruckner's Symphony No. 9 (Rattle / BRSO) - 12/14 Liszt's "Faust Symphony" (Luigi / NHK Symphony)
#MishimaruClassicAward2024 【Best Today’s Favorite Award】 Chung Myung-hoon / Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra June 24, Suntory Hall Messiaen: Turangalîla Symphony It was a moment when my dream came true. Listening to Turangalîla and hearing Chung's conducting. The sheer amount of information was overwhelming and gave me goosebumps. → x.com/mishi_classic/…

The tweet translates to: "I didn't mention this at the time, but I've been called 'Chinchanchon' a few times in India. The boys were all around 10 years old. They kept saying it while laughing, so of course I told them to stop, but overall the adults around me tried to brush it off with 'don't worry about it' 🤷♀️."

Thank you to everyone at the inn yesterday! 🤝 I lost due to a difference in skill level. 🥶💦 Now, on the final day... As expected, it looks like it will be fun with everyone from the 【Kirama Club】🔥, especially since some people have interacted with me on X and have come to hang out at Gin-yuu before. 🥳✨ (I'm a bit of a defense fanatic though. 🫠) #DragonQuestTact #GuildTournament pic.x.com/JtLZLORkg5

Here’s the translation of the tweet: "┼Mr. X's ridiculous formula┼ Leonardo da Vinci was called a 'Renaissance man' (uomo universale) due to his great versatility. Jascha Heifetz prioritized technical precision above all else, causing his peers to struggle and leading to what was known as 'Heifetz syndrome.' Synesthesia Jung, what about you? What exactly are you?" (Note: The last part "PL まこと KP うぴ" seems to be a mix of abbreviations or names that may not have a clear translation without additional context.)
Here's the translation of the tweet: "Starting the last TRPG online session of the year (I have an offline KP in two days). Mr. X's ridiculous formula. KP: Upi-san, PL: Makoto, Explorer: Synesthesia Jung. I'm looking forward to it! pic.x.com/L4C5n3uC94"
