Recently, 2PM's Nickhun reported stalking incidents, and JYP Entertainment has taken a strong response. On the 18th, JYP Entertainment, the agency of 2PM, announced through an official comment that "we have confirmed stalking behavior that infringes on the privacy and threatens the safety of 2PM members." They continued, "It has been confirmed that the stalker followed the artist for a long time according to their movements, made threatening remarks, and attempted to approach persistently. We consider this behavior a serious incident that severely threatens the physical and mental safety of the artist, and we are currently securing related evidence and proceeding with legal measures." They also stated, "If similar stalking behavior occurs in the future, we will take immediate additional legal action without hesitation," and emphasized that persistent stalking and tracking of the artist's daily life constitutes a clear crime. The agency prioritizes the protection of the artist's personality rights and safety, and will respond strongly to all acts that infringe upon this. Furthermore, they are continuously collecting malicious comments against the artist and taking legal action, urging fans to remain vigilant and report any related incidents. They reiterated their commitment to protecting the personality rights and safety of their artists without exception. Prior to this, Nickhun posted on his Instagram story that "last night, while walking around my home, a person claiming to be a fan followed me and stalked me." He explained, "That person followed me for about 30 minutes, shouting aggressively in Chinese right next to me, and I couldn't return home. Therefore, I walked to the nearby police station to seek help and ensured that person could not follow me anymore." He continued, "I became scared that the person would ambush and follow me again, so I ended up being escorted home by a police car," and warned, "I know who you are, and I intend to take legal action." He expressed anger, stating, "You even physically assaulted me. So don't think I will do nothing. This is a serious violation of my privacy and safety."
