NiziU's 1st mini-album "AWAKE" has been decided to be released on February 5, 2025 (Wednesday). The 1st mini-album "AWAKE" is the latest work, about 6 months after the previous work "RISE UP." Today, the track list and contents have been revealed, and it has become clear that colorful songs will be included. Released digitally in February and March, the album will feature the long-hit tracks "Memories" (the theme song for Universal Studios Japan's "Uni Spring") and "SWEET NONFICTION" (the theme song for the movie "Koi Wazurai no Ellie"). It will also include the title track "YOAKE" and the 75th anniversary song "Buddy Buddy" for the globally recognized IP "Peanuts," known for Snoopy, as they were recently announced as the "Comic 75th Anniversary Ambassadors." The list of titles is exciting, and fans can't help but look forward to what kind of songs will be included. Among them, the song "AlwayS," a precious ballad written, composed, and produced by Motoki Omori of Mrs. GREEN APPLE, stands out. The song was born from mutual respect after both groups participated as guests in each other's songs during the live event "The Performance" held at K Arena Yokohama in April this year, captivating the audience over two days. We can't help but look forward to the chemical reaction between Motoki Omori, an artist dominating the current music scene as the "King of Streaming Hits," and NiziU, which has now become a national girl group expanding its global activities. Additionally, the latest work "AWAKE" will be released as a limited production edition in collaboration with Peanuts. The complete limited production edition, which includes a Snoopy pouch, will be sold exclusively at Sony Music Shop. It has also been revealed that the first limited production edition B will include unit songs, which is also attracting attention.
