D.O. of EXO revealed that he could not attend his best friend Kim Woo-bin's wedding. Today (11th), during an interview regarding the Disney+ original series "Fabricated City" (script: Oh Sang-ho, directed by Park Shin-woo, Kim Chang-joo) held in Samcheong-dong, Jongno District, Seoul, D.O. said he could not attend the wedding of Kim Woo-bin and Shin Mina because he would participate in a music awards ceremony. Kim Woo-bin and Shin Mina are scheduled to hold their wedding at the Shilla Hotel in Seoul on the 20th. On the same afternoon, D.O. will attend the "22025 MelOn Music Awards (MMA)" at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Guro District, Seoul, with EXO members. D.O. said, "I was originally supposed to sing a congratulatory song. I was planning to sing 'Popcorn,' but it's unfortunate. I knew about the wedding early on, but then my participation in the 'MMA' was decided, and I struggled with how to tell Brother Woo-bin. I had to talk about it, but both of them were disappointed." He also joked, "I don't know who will sing the congratulatory song. I've been excluded and have become someone out of sight." He added, "Attending the 'MMA' is, of course, work, so it's very important. When I think about what to prioritize, I believe it's EXO. I understand that this is unavoidable, so I'm disappointed but accepting everything. I'm thinking about how to make up for it." He expressed his feelings, saying, "Congratulations on your marriage. I recently met Senior Shin Mina for the first time. I hadn't had many opportunities to meet her, but I was finally able to greet her at a Disney+ event. I've known Brother Woo-bin for a long time, so I feel it's truly a blessing when someone you've known for a long time gets married. I haven't seen how they spent their time together, but it seems they have had a healthy and happy relationship, and I want to sincerely congratulate them." He also mentioned, "Just by looking at them, I could tell they looked happy. Even after a long relationship, the pink glow of love was evident. I heard that on Pepero Day, which is not a birthday, they bought flowers and Pepero at a convenience store. He concluded by saying, "I have no intention of getting married yet." Recently, D.O. left Company Soo Soo, established by former SM manager Nam Kyung-soo, and signed an exclusive contract with BLITZWAY ENTERTAINMENT. He explained, "I think I had a strong desire to quickly finalize a contract and try new experiences. I believe BLITZWAY is a company that focuses on not only acting but also music production and album creation, and my desire to gain new experiences was the biggest reason for this decision."
