Suntory Beverage & Food Co., Ltd. will release new products 'Bishoku Korean Tea <Pomegranate Fruit Tea>' and 'Bishoku Korean Tea <Azuki Blend Tea>' exclusively at '7-Eleven' nationwide starting May 12 (Tuesday). To commemorate the new release, they will unveil a WEBCM titled 'Kenchana! Baby' featuring Asa from BABYMONSTER and three kids dancers who are trending on social media for their sharp dance moves (appearing as 'Baby Dancers' in this CM). In recent years, 'Healthy Pleasure' has become a trend in Korea, balancing health and taste, leading to an expansion in the tea market utilizing traditional ingredients. Focusing on this aspect of Korean culture, these products incorporate traditional beauty ingredients from Korea. 'Bishoku Korean Tea' is inspired by materials that have been popular in Korea for a long time, especially among young women, based on 'azuki' and 'pomegranate', blended for a delicious and easy-to-drink flavor. With the wish that 'your daily life may be beautifully colored', this new tea aims to be a source of positivity with every sip. 'Bishoku Korean Tea <Azuki Blend Tea>' features a pleasant aroma and natural sweetness from lightly roasted azuki beans, blended with deep-roasted azuki for a roasted fragrance, creating a delightful taste that is easy to drink daily, enriched with polyphenols and caffeine-free. 'Bishoku Korean Tea <Pomegranate Fruit Tea>' offers a refreshing taste with the tartness of pomegranate, paired with ingredients like red grapes and rooibos that share aromatic components with pomegranate, achieving a rich flavor and aroma. Like the azuki blend tea, it is also caffeine-free and contains polyphenols. The packaging design is inspired by trendy cosmetics in Korea, featuring a striking two-tone color that aims to uplift the mood just by holding it. The back of the package includes the product concept message 'May your daily life be beautifully colored', inviting consumers to enjoy the world of Bishoku Korean Tea. The CM uses the keyword 'Kenchana', meaning 'It's okay' in Korean, encouraging a positive mindset even in the face of failure. The CM begins with Asa warmly watching the baby dancers practice in the studio. Asa looks concerned when one of the baby dancers falls during the dance, but is relieved and supportive when the dancer quickly gets back up and resumes dancing. The CM concludes with Asa smiling after drinking 'Bishoku Korean Tea' and showcasing her own light dance steps alongside the baby dancers. The collaboration between Asa and the baby dancers, along with Asa's charismatic expression management, is noteworthy. During the shoot, Asa's various expressions prompted staff to exclaim 'So cute!' showcasing her impressive expression management. Asa also warmly encourages the nervous baby dancers with 'Kenchana!', creating a warm atmosphere on set. The shoot progressed in a friendly manner, with Asa communicating with the baby dancers. ◆ Asa Interview - What are the highlights of this CM? Asa: I was very nervous, but the energy of the baby dancers was incredible, and I think we were able to shoot in a very warm atmosphere while receiving energy from each other. - How was it shooting with the baby dancers? There were moments of conversation; what did you talk about? Asa: I also started dancing at 7 years old; do you have any memories? Asa: This time, the phrase 'Kenchana!' is the main focus, and we had a lot of fun shooting while saying 'Kenchana Kenchana!' to each other. I loved dancing as a child and have memories of dancing all day at home. - What are the highlights of the CM and the dance points? Asa: The highlight of the CM is the natural interaction with the baby dancers, encouraging each other with 'Kenchana' even when we make mistakes. 'Kenchana' means 'It's okay' in Korean, and I think the warmth of encouraging each other is a highlight. Personally, I like the gesture of drinking this Korean tea, so I think that gesture combined with sharp movements and the synchronization with the baby dancers is a key point. - What did you think of the Korean tea? Are you an azuki fan or a pomegranate fan? Asa: The pomegranate is very fruity. The azuki has a slightly sweet, roasted flavor. I like both, but I think I prefer the pomegranate flavor. I think both have their own charm. However, I think the pomegranate flavor is refreshing, especially on hot days or after intense dance practice. - As the CM will be released in May, a warm season, what positive things do you want to do this summer with the positive feelings from drinking Korean tea? Asa: As BABYMONSTER, I want to meet many fans and convey good energy and power to them along with this Korean tea. I hope everyone will try it; it's really delicious. - Finally, do you have a message for everyone watching this CM? Asa: This time, we shot with the word 'Kenchana' as the main theme, and I would be happy if it brings a very positive feeling that it's okay even if you make mistakes. I really want everyone to try it.
