&TEAM released the "Mobile Game ver." of its original video content "Mission: Doki-Doki - Tame your Wolf! (Exciting Wolf-Taming Grand Operation!)" from its Korean 2nd mini album "Mark on Me," which will be released in Korea on Tuesday, September 8, and in Japan on Monday, September 21 (a national holiday), on &TEAM’s official social media at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 29. The previous day, on Friday the 28th, the "CM ver.," which had been surprise-released in advance, became a major topic of conversation. It took the form of a comical "fake commercial" in which, when the game’s affinity gauge is filled, cute baby wolves and the members who have become werewolves jump out into the real world, and together with the narration by popular voice actress Kang Su-jin, who is known for Korean-dubbed versions of Japanese anime, attention from fans focused intensely on its unique and highly polished style. On social media, comments such as "I want this game so badly!" "I was surprised by the voice; the voice casting is way too serious," and "The best promotion!" poured in, and there was already a huge buzz as people expressed surprise and hoped it would become a real game. The newly released "Mobile Game ver." is original video content that recreates the atmosphere of a mobile raising and romance simulation game with retro and adorable pixel art. During the daytime, the player carefully raises an adorable "baby wolf" by feeding it, giving it a bath, and playing with toys together. Then, when night falls, the game shifts completely, and secret dates begin with each member who has grown into a werewolf. Another highlight is the members’ nine distinct lines and interactions within the game. Sweet lines that are sure to make hearts flutter, such as "I missed you (K)," "Good morning! Want some mandarin oranges? (EJ)," and "It’s okay! I’m here with you (TAKI)," appear one after another, and there are also features where the player can choose responses to members saying things like "Where were you? I was looking for you (HARUA)" and "Wow... I like you too much (NICHOLAS)," as well as situations that make hearts race, such as members saying, "Ah, you found me! I wanted to show you only my cool side! (FUMA)," "What happened today is our secret, just the two of us (YUMA)," "We met again today! (JO)," and "So... you don’t like me? (MAKI)." This content is a playful project based on the core theme of this work, "TAME ME," that is, "a wolf-style love confession." By expressing &TEAM’s identity as "wolves" as friendly baby wolves, it is depicted cutely, while in the night scenes adult werewolves wearing the outfits from the "TAME ME ver." concept photos appear. It vividly expresses the single-minded and bittersweet feelings directed toward LUNÉ (the fans), who are destined beings who can understand each other’s wounds and are the object of their love. All of the words spoken to the game player are messages dedicated to each fan beyond the screen. In previous works, &TEAM had developed stories centered on the strong sense of camaraderie and bonds of a wolf pack, but in this work, for the first time, they have fully set "romance" as the main theme. Expectations are only growing for how their pure and intense love confession will be incorporated into the actual songs and performances. In addition, the release of a track sampler is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Monday, August 31, and the musical teasing for this work will finally begin in earnest. Turning away from the exciting game footage, it remains to be seen what kind of sound will captivate listeners next, and their next approach is not to be missed.
