&TEAM has released the audio and music video for their first mini-album "Back to Life" in Korea today (28th). As a new step towards realizing "Japan to Global," &TEAM is making their Korean debut with this album. The album expresses the instinctive and challenging spirit of the wolf, which is part of &TEAM's identity. It depicts the growth of boys who continue to instinctively move towards the future despite facing setbacks and trials, and is expected to be a work that challenges a wide range of musicality. The title track "Back to Life" is finished in a rough and intense Rock Hip-hop genre. This song, which transforms past wounds such as setbacks and trials into a stepping stone for growth, conveys a strong will to rise again with "revived instincts" and reflects &TEAM's unwavering determination and positive energy as they run towards a larger world. The music video released simultaneously begins with MAKI asking, "Am I a monster? Are we?" The scenes of colliding with the crowd and splashing water evoke a huge energy stemming from emotions that rise from within. The beautiful clouds and grasslands where the boys sleep are revealed to be replicas as the camera pulls back, highlighting the harshness of the "reality" where storms rage. Undeterred by the reality of debris falling due to strong winds, the powerful group dance showcases the positive energy of the nine boys who accept trials and setbacks and strive to move forward. The narrative-driven music video highlights each member's compelling performance, particularly the moment when JO grabs K's hand as he struggles, waking from a nightmare. The performance expresses strong energy and unity among the nine, intensifying in the latter half of the music video as emotions explode. Attention is drawn to the dramatic changes in emotion felt through the performance. &TEAM has proven their immense popularity, surpassing 1 million total shipments with their 3rd single "Go in Blind (Moon Wolf)" released on April 23, 2025, and achieving their first "Million Certification" in July. Their first Asia tour, which began in May, attracted about 160,000 attendees, including an encore performance at Saitama Super Arena, increasing their global visibility. This Korean debut marks the first step in &TEAM's challenge to step from Japan to the world. The &TEAM debut showcase "Back to Life" held today in Seoul will be streamed on Weverse LIVE, HYBE LABELS YouTube, and &TEAM's official TikTok account. With unwavering determination, expectations are rising worldwide for what kind of breakthrough they will create with their "revived instincts."
