The global group &TEAM from Japan participated for the first time in the recording of the '2026 Super Star Red and White Entertainment Awards' broadcast in Taiwan on February 16, the eve of the Lunar New Year, serving as the final act among top artists gathered from Asia, marking a new step in their journey from Japan to the world. Additionally, Nicholas, a member from Taiwan, showcased a surprise collaboration stage with the popular Taiwanese rock band 831. This achievement makes them only the second group to serve as the final act since EXILE in 2020, and they are the fastest in Japanese artist history to appear simultaneously on both Japan's and Taiwan's Red and White shows. The '2026 Super Star Red and White Entertainment Awards,' also known as the Taiwanese version of the Red and White, is a large year-end music program where top Asian artists gather and perform live, divided into red and white teams. In 2025, &TEAM energetically continued their activities under the banner of 'Japan to Global,' achieving milestones such as the first-ever million sales as a Japanese artist in Korea, their first chart entry on the US Billboard, winning a record award, and participating in the Red and White song contest. During their first participation, they served as the final act. Seven members of &TEAM, excluding EJ and K, participated in the recording held at a packed Taipei Arena, delivering an impressive performance in front of the local audience. They appeared in classic mood outfits with elegant tweed jackets adorned with pearls, chains, and brooches. They performed three popular songs: 'Back to Life,' 'MISMATCH,' which achieved million sales on its release day in Korea last year, and 'FIREWORK,' which was also showcased at the Red and White song contest. The audience erupted in cheers for &TEAM's group dance, which has steadily improved their performance skills as a stage crash group. Additionally, Nicholas, a member from Taiwan, made a triumphant appearance on Taiwan's most prestigious music special, collaborating with the popular rock band 831 for a surprise stage. As soon as Nicholas appeared on stage, the venue erupted in cheers, and he sang the representative song 'Miss You 3000' by 831, which has over 100 million views on YouTube. The audience joined in a chorus during the chorus, and the collaboration became a hot topic on social media. &TEAM participated in the NHK Red and White song contest at the end of last year, and just a few months later, they appeared on Taiwan's Red and White, achieving the remarkable feat of dominating major Asian music specials in just three years since their debut. By being the fastest to appear on two programs in Japanese artist history, &TEAM leaves a new mark on their journey from Japan to the world, steadily expanding their momentum and influence. The 'Super Star Red and White Entertainment Awards' was broadcast simultaneously on the program's YouTube channel, receiving joyful comments from LUNÉ (the name of their fans) from various countries and regions. On the 12th, &TEAM announced the release of their 3rd EP 'We on Fire' (to be released on April 21), generating anticipation for the new work.
