JYP Entertainment's rookie girl group VCHA is bringing a new wind to the music industry. VCHA officially debuted today (26th) with the release of their debut single "Girls of the Year" and the music video of the same title track. The released video includes scenes of the members gathering in the practice room and performing on stage in front of a large audience. The title track "Girls of the Year" is a song that expresses the important dreams, strong aspirations, and high goals of the six members to "become the representative girls of the year." The debut single of the same name includes the title track and the full 2 songs of "XO Call Me." JYP's ambitious rookie girl group VCHA, which will be unveiled in 2024, was born through the global girl group launch project "A2K" (A2K, America2Korea), a collaboration between JYP, a leading entertainment agency in the K-POP world, and Republic Records, the No. 1 label selected by Billboard in the United States under the Universal Music Group. Prior to their official debut, they were selected as one of the "25 Artists To Watch In 2024" by the US Grammy.com and their single was chosen as one of the "22 Most Anticipated Albums of 2024" by the US magazine "NYLON," attracting high interest from overseas media. VCHA will share the joy of their debut with fans by live streaming a debut commemorative live at 3 p.m. Furthermore, they will appear on the opening stage of TWICE's 5th world tour "READY TO BE" in Mexico City's Foro Sol on February 2nd and 3rd, at Allianz Parque in Sao Paulo, Brazil on the 6th and 7th, and on the stage of Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, USA on March 16th.
