Chansung of 2PM talked about the members' reactions to his work 'Bloodhound 2'. He revealed in a recent interview in Yeouido, Seoul, that the members said, 'The action was cool' and 'It was tough.' He responded, 'It was tough too.' They also said, 'It was cool' and 'I watched everything,' which made him very happy. He continued, 'We are not the type to evaluate each other harshly. There is a lot of strict monitoring online, but we don't talk about that much among members.' He added, 'We often check on each other, asking, 'It must have been tough, are you okay?' When we gather, we end up chatting about trivial things for about three hours. Although we are each active, when the six of us gather, it feels like we go back to the past. It's nostalgic and comforting.' Regarding what he wants to tell Taecyeon, who is about to get married, as a senior in marriage and parenting, he said, 'If brother Taecyeon asks, I will answer anything sincerely.' He also explained, 'On days when I have no schedule, I spend time on self-improvement. I create songs, read scripts, exercise, study if there's something to learn, and have meetings.' He added, 'Usually, my work allows for flexible time, so there are no major issues balancing parenting. However, when preparing for works or songs, I really run out of time. I have to aim for a quality that satisfies me.' He reflected, 'When I'm busy, I really have no time, but when I'm not, I have relative leeway. However, I feel like I was busy for about four-fifths of the year from the year before last to last year.' When asked if his daughter knows about his profession, he laughed, saying, 'To my daughter, I am someone who exercises.' Chansung debuted as an actor in 2006 with MBC's sitcom 'High Kick!' and this year marks 20 years. He said, 'I think it's amazing that I've been active for so long, but I don't really feel it. While working hard, I feel like so much time has passed, and it's a strange feeling. Time really flies.' He continued, 'It's been 20 years, but since I'm still in my late 30s, I want to try various things in the future. It's a moving feeling.' Chansung commented on 'High Kick!' gaining attention on YouTube and becoming popular among children, saying, 'When I participated in volunteer activities before, children knew who I was. Those kids were born before I debuted as 2PM, but when I asked how they knew, they said, 'I saw it on YouTube.' I thought it was really amazing and realized the influence of YouTube again.' As a member of 2PM and continuing as an actor, Chansung also talked about why he continues to strive. He said, 'Before starting my activities, I didn't particularly have a dream. But as I continued, this work itself became my dream.' He continued, 'Once I wanted to continue this work, I wanted to learn something and acquire unknown sensations rather than just living easily. I want to grow as I age, and I always have the feeling that I don't want to disappoint those who support me. I hope to live while cherishing that feeling in the future. Pouring passion into something is not that difficult for me.' Regarding this year's plans, he said, 'We plan to hold a concert for 2PM's 15th anniversary in Japan this May. I am also reading scripts, and after that, I will have individual activities in Japan. It seems I will be going back and forth between Korea and Japan.' Chansung was the first among 2PM members to get married in 2022. Taecyeon is scheduled to hold a wedding with a civilian woman this spring.
