The 3rd ASIA STAR ENTERTAINER AWARDS 2026 (hereafter "ASEA 2026"), a music festival gathering top-class artists representing Asia, will be held on May 16 and 17 at Saitama's Belluna Dome, where Lee Sung-kyung and Lee Chae-min have confirmed their appearances. Lee Sung-kyung will serve as the MC for the award ceremony on the second day, the 17th. She debuted through the 2008 SBS Super Model Selection Contest and began her acting career in the 2014 drama "It's Okay, That's Love," establishing a solid position through works like "Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo" and the "Romantic Doctor Kim" series. Recently, she led the drama "The Season You Shine" with her delicate acting. Known for her excellent singing ability, Lee Sung-kyung has also expanded her activities into musicals, proving her versatility. Having already shown stable hosting skills at various award ceremonies, expectations are high for her performance at "ASEA 2026." The top K-POP star who will co-host with Lee Sung-kyung will be announced on the 27th. Lee Chae-min, a rising star attracting attention, will also join the award ceremony for the first time. Launched in 2024, "ASEA" has established itself as a global awards ceremony that selects and honors artists who exert influence beyond Asia and showcases high-quality performances. This year, many top-class artists who have achieved meaningful results over the past year are expected to participate and present a glamorous stage. ATEEZ, &TEAM, ENHYPEN, Hearts2Hearts, IDID, Kwon Eun-bi from IZ*ONE, NOWZ, THE RAMPAGE from EXILE TRIBE, VVUP, Wonho, xikers, and others have already confirmed their appearances. MONSTA X's Hyungwon and IVE's Rei will serve as MCs on the first day, with 2PM's Junho and Ko Yoon-jung also participating. "ASEA 2026" is hosted by Newsen, a leading entertainment and sports media in Korea celebrating its 21st anniversary this year, and @star1, a star and style magazine celebrating its 14th anniversary, with the ASEA organizing committee overseeing the event. "ASEA 2026" will gradually announce the artist lineup, award categories, and judging criteria through its official website.
