Actor Chung Kyung-ho revealed his impressions of challenging tango. Today (1st) morning, a production report meeting for the movie 'Boss' was held at the Megabox Seongsu store in the Songdong district of Seoul, attended by Jo Woo-jin, Chung Kyung-ho, Park Ji-hwan, Lee Kyu-hyun, and director Ra Hee-chan. The film depicts a comical action of organization members fiercely 'yielding' the boss position for their dreams, ahead of the selection of the next boss of the largest organization in Yeongdu City, the 'Sick faction.' In the film, Chung Kyung-ho plays the role of Gan-pyo, who bets everything on tango instead of the successor position of the organization. He described his character as 'a pure person. When he becomes obsessed with one thing, he sees nothing else. He is someone who wants to do what he wants freely, and that was dance.' He continued, 'Actually, it wasn't dance; it was originally piano. I thought it would be more effective to practice tango more passionately due to the lack of preparation time, but it wasn't so. It was very difficult. When Gan-pyo appeared, it seemed that tango was what made people laugh more effectively, so after consulting with the director, I immediately started dance practice.' He practiced tango for about four months for the character and expressed, 'Tango was a truly charming dance. I want to recommend it to others.' When asked if he received advice about tango practice from his girlfriend, Su-yeon of Girls' Generation, Chung Kyung-ho said, 'Su-yeon's advice was not only about dance but very much,' and explained, 'It helped. She always watched the videos I sent and said, 'You're good' and 'You should do it this way.' He also expressed gratitude, saying, 'K-POP dance and tango seem to be different genres,' and as someone with experience, he received a lot of help. The movie 'Boss' is scheduled to be released in Korea in October.
