He publicly released a handwritten letter on a fan platform to announce his enlistment, saying, "I think there are people who have been preparing mentally, and there are people who are surprised," and "I have many things I want to achieve with the members and fans in the future, so I will work hard in the military and learn a lot." Born in 1995, Taeyong debuted in 2016 and has been active as a leader, center, main rapper, and main dancer in NCT U, NCT 127, SuperM, proving his outstanding abilities. Last June, he finally made his long-awaited solo debut.
