Venue101’s August episode shares artists’ summer memories through handwritten picture diaries and features live performances by five acts.

The music program "Venue101," which is broadcast live every Saturday at 11 p.m. from NHK Studio 101. Under the theme "At 11 p.m. on Saturday, a live performance is born," MCs Ryuichi Hamaya and Erika Ikuta and guest artists deliver live performances in a fun and passionate way. A classic of summer vacation homework is the "picture diary." The last Venue of August will look back on the artists’ summer memories through handwritten picture diaries. From episodes at work this summer such as live performances and filming, to mishaps that happened in private, and things they were secretly into, the artists’ summer memories will be unraveled from the picture diaries drawn by each member of INI, =LOVE, EBiDAN, CUTIE STREET, and TOMORROW X TOGETHER. What kind of memories, and what kind of "masterpieces," will emerge!? In the live performances, five groups will perform popular songs! INI will perform the youthful "You Know What To Do." The highlight is the side-by-side formation dance shown at the end of the song. It will be a stage where you can feel the bond of the group as they celebrate their 5th debut anniversary. =LOVE will perform "Koi, Hajimemashita." with a refreshing sense of speed that feels summery. It is full of cute choreography, including the "Kizuite inai no ka nya?" before the chorus! Attention will be drawn to them, who are full of idol-like charm. And EBiDAN will of course perform that song! They achieved a million in the first week of release, and the song that has taken over this summer’s music scene, "Yes! Tokyo." The selected members will deliver the song, which commemorates the group’s 15th anniversary of activities. Expectations are rising for EBiDAN’s energy, which will bring vigor and happiness through powerful unison dance. CUTIE STREET will perform "Kyuutena Kyuutai," which is also a hot topic as the ending theme of a popular anime. Let’s join in front of the TV with the call-and-response such as "Kurukuru" and "Yurayura," the cute, conversational-style lyrics, and the shout of "Pick up!" that makes you think of "that character"! TOMORROW X TOGETHER will perform "Setsuna Hanabi (Setsuna Hanabi)." This song overlays a love that is coming to an end with fireworks that bloom and then scatter. Pay attention to the expressions that convey sadness glimpsed within the sharp dance. In the studio, centered on the two MCs, the five artists will unfold talk and performances full of the realism unique to a live broadcast. AEN canceled and postponed its offline event, while WHIB will hold its release event as scheduled. ROCK IN JAPAN FESTIVAL 2026 also canceled today’s show.
INI performed a celebratory stage at the opening ceremony of the 20th Asian Games (2026/Aichi-Nagoya) held on the afternoon of the 19th at Mizuho Park Athletic Stadium in Nagoya. Related notes mention that Yudai Sano of INI has announced a hiatus and will not appear at ROCK IN JAPAN on September 21, and that artists from &TEAM to JO1 will appear at MTV VMAJ 2026, to be held at Tokyo Dome on October 29.
INI announced that Yudai Sano will suspend his activities for the time being after consulting with him and prioritizing treatment for health reasons. The timing of his return will be announced later based on his recovery. ROCK IN JAPAN FESTIVAL 2026 said INI will perform without Sano on September 21.
=LOVE will appear on Day 1 of INKIGAYO LIVE in TOKYO, held over two days at Belluna Dome on September 22 and 23, 2026. The event features major artists from Korea and Japan, including TOMORROW X TOGETHER, IVE, RIIZE, &TEAM, Ado, Ikuta Rira, BE:FIRST, and HANA.
The 15th Anniversary TV Asahi Dream Festival will take place on November 21-23, 2026, at K Arena Yokohama, moving from Makuhari Messe. Thirteen artists, including nine first-time acts, will perform across three days, with ticket sales and lineup details announced.
