ILLIT reveals the evolved 'ILLIT core' that evokes empathy from teenagers and young adults with their new album. Today (31st) at noon, ILLIT released the tracklist for their 4th mini-album 'MAMIHLAPINATAPAI' on HYBE LABELS' YouTube channel. According to this, the new album includes five tracks, starting with the title song 'It's Me', as well as 'GRWM (Get Ready With Me)', 'paw, paw!', 'Mamihlapinatapai', and 'Love, older you'. 'It's Me' is a song that boldly shouts, 'You are my one and only!' at the moment when worries deepen about the relationship with a loved one after the first date. This song maximizes ILLIT's bold charm with the participation of unique singer-songwriter youra and The Deep in the lyrics. youra, who received acclaim for expressing ILLIT's unique tomboyish ideas through distinctive lyrics in the 1st single title track 'NOT CUTE ANYMORE', is expected to create synergy with the members again. The entire track reflects the interests and emotions of the same generation. 'GRWM (Get Ready With Me)', depicting intimate moments of sharing inner feelings with you, and 'paw, paw!', infused with affection for beloved pets, are expected to resonate with listeners. 'paw, paw!' features member Iroha participating in lyrics writing for the first time since debut, incorporating her personal experiences into candid lyrics. Chairman Bang Si-hyuk of HYBE adds his strength here, creating delicate emotional lines and enhancing the song's completeness. Additionally, the song 'Mamihlapinatapai' conveys a message to contemporary youth who have become 'lazy perfectionists' in the face of numerous choices and responsibilities, while 'Love, older you' serves as a letter to the younger self during tough moments.
