Tonight at 24:24, on the music program 'Night Sound -TOKYO MIDNIGHT MUSIC-', hosted by Fuma Kikuchi of timelesz and Mei Hata, &TEAM will appear. Last year, they achieved a million-hit as the first domestic artist in both Japan and South Korea. Entering their fourth year since debut, &TEAM is gaining momentum. Why does their ultimate synchronized dance come to be? We delve into &TEAM's commitment and passion for dance as they aim for the world. &TEAM was born from the audition program '&AUDITION -The Howling-' which had Bang Si-hyuk, the creator of BTS, as a special advisor. Their debut EP's title track 'Under the Skin' made a brilliant debut, charting in 42 countries and regions, and last year they finally debuted in Korea. Among the competitive dance vocal group scene, they shine with their signature 'synchronized dance'. Just how amazing is it? We interview Masaya Kimura from the boys' group INI, who debuted around the same time, about the difficulty of synchronization. Additionally, we interview Seka from FANTASTICS and the dance performance group s**t kingz, who have won at dance world championships, to discuss &TEAM's impressive skills that go beyond technique. During a studio talk with all members present, FUMA of &TEAM greets Kikuchi with 'It's been a while'. When the surprising connection of 'Double Fuma' is revealed, Hata and the other members, who knew nothing about it, are shocked, exclaiming 'What!? Amazing!'. As the studio fills with astonished voices, the talk shifts to synchronized dance. Kikuchi laughs, saying, 'The synchronization rate is amazing. We (timelesz) had three members before, but we couldn't synchronize even with three.' How does &TEAM's synchronization come to be? The eldest member K reveals, 'I think there are many talented dancers around the world, but when nine people synchronize, it might be stronger than one person's power. Everyone believes in that power. If every cut can be a beautiful picture with all nine, then good works are born for us.' Furthermore, they share their incredible efforts and struggles to achieve high-quality synchronization, including the painstaking practice and the story behind re-recording their new song due to their obsession with quality. Their third single 'Go in Blind (Moon Wolf)', released last April, gained attention for its synchronized dance performed blindfolded by all members. Kikuchi directly asks, 'Wasn't it scary to be blindfolded?'. When he asks all members to raise their hands if they disliked being blindfolded, the unexpected result causes laughter in the studio! They also share secret episodes with their seniors BTS. Reflecting on the intense practice during their debut, K recalls, 'We did the same thing from morning till night. It was really driving us crazy. But at that timing, BTS seniors happened to be there...' Kikuchi empathizes, saying, 'They give us energy and courage.' Their latest third EP 'We on Fire', released today on the 21st, challenges even higher levels of synchronization despite the increasing individual activities making it hard to practice together. They express their thoughts on the new song, positioning it as a culmination of their fourth year since debut, saying, 'We wanted to do this as nine.' At the end of the talk, Kikuchi asks, 'Can I ask one thing? Are you still living together?' delving into the private lives of the nine members, revealing their daily lives and even their quarrels, exposing their relationships that fans are curious about. The highlight of the studio live will feature the blindfolded dance from 'Go in Blind (Moon Wolf)' and their latest song 'We on Fire'. Especially 'We on Fire' is filmed with only eight fixed-angle cameras, making every cut look like a beautiful picture. The choreography, perfectly synchronized even in passion, is a must-see. The charm of &TEAM, aiming for the world, will be fully revealed in 'Night Sound -TOKYO MIDNIGHT MUSIC-', airing tonight at 24:24.
