I.M of MONSTA X has ended his exclusive contract with Sony Music Korea. Sony Music Korea announced yesterday (15th), 'We inform you that our company and the artist I.M have mutually agreed to end the exclusive contract after careful discussion.' They explained, 'After signing the exclusive contract with Sony Music Korea in 2022, I.M has built a more solid unique musical world with us over the past three years.' They continued, 'We express deep gratitude to I.M, who has shared his own music and heartfelt sincerity, and we will always support him with a loving heart. We ask for much interest and love for I.M, who stands at a new starting point.' MONSTA X is celebrating their 10th anniversary this year and actively released a mini-album 'THE X' on the 1st of this month.
