SEVENTEEN’s The 8 expressed in a new form the sense he has accumulated over 12 years. The title of issue No. 36 of “D’ICON” is “THE 8TH SENSE.” Over a total of 128 pages, it included the eighth sense of his that even fans, CARAT, had not yet discovered. In a quiet house where the set, lighting, and excessive posing were stripped away, the focus was on The 8’s natural texture. His unbuttoned shirt and tousled hair, and the figure of him leaning comfortably back in a chair and lost in thought, completed a unique dreamlike atmosphere while receiving fleeting light and shadow. Meanwhile, in Type B, his fresh boyish beauty was brought out. Against a background of blue sky and lush nature, The 8’s shining eyes as he rode a bicycle and cut through the wind were innocence itself. The free styling, not bound by fixed ways of dressing, such as wearing a shirt loosely or draping it over his shoulders, also proved his one-of-a-kind sense. This gravure was not limited to visualizing sensibility, but also looked back deeply into the heart. The 8 debuted as SEVENTEEN in May 2015.
