The production team of the Netflix series 'Monthly Boyfriend' revealed that the correction of credit notation was a 'mistake by the production company.' On the 21st, the production team commented to OSEN, 'In early March, immediately after the work was released, we confirmed that there was an error in the management notation of Jisoo due to a mistake by the production company, and we took corrective measures right away.' A man in his 30s, Mr. B, who is the older brother of a member of a famous female idol group, was arrested on suspicion of sexual harassment against a female BJ (broadcaster), but the arrest warrant applied for by the police was rejected by the prosecution on the grounds of 'insufficient evidence.' Along with this, allegations of domestic violence against his wife have also surfaced, and it has been reported that this is Jisoo's older brother, causing controversy. In relation to this, Jisoo stated through her legal representative on the 20th, 'Many of the contents spreading on the internet are unverified speculations or obvious false facts. The artist has lived apart from her family for a long time since starting her trainee life at a young age and cannot recognize or be involved in the private life of the relevant person.' In particular, regarding the process of establishing the company, she emphasized, 'There are facts that I received limited advice or communication from family members, but from then until now, family members have not received any compensation from BLISSOO or participated in decision-making at all.' She also stated, 'The family has no legal relationship with the company, and it is not true that they represent the agency at all,' and added, 'I clearly express that the relevant person currently has no legal or managerial relationship with BLISSOO.' However, there has been growing concern among netizens regarding the fact that the name of Jisoo's older brother was listed in the production credits of Coupang Play's 'Newtopia' and the recently released Netflix 'Monthly Boyfriend' under the title of agency representative.
