According to the audit report released yesterday (9th) by the Financial Supervisory Service's electronic public announcement system, OA Entertainment paid Jennie about 9.47 billion won (approximately 947 million yen) last year. When combined with the payment amount for 2024, which is about 14.3 billion won (approximately 1.43 billion yen), the total settlement amount received over two years amounts to 238 billion won. Jennie ended her exclusive contract with YG ENTERTAINMENT in November 2023 and established her own planning company, OA Entertainment, to continue her activities. Jennie holds 100% of the shares in OA Entertainment, and her mother serves as the representative director. The company has also shown growth in performance, with last year's sales reaching 238 billion won, a 26% increase compared to the first year's sales of 189 billion won (approximately 1.89 billion yen). However, operating profit decreased slightly to 390 million won (approximately 39 million yen) from the previous year's 580 million won (approximately 58 million yen). Jennie has also invested funds into the company's operations, with short-term borrowings at the end of last year amounting to 2.86 billion won (approximately 286 million yen), an eightfold increase from the previous year. She explained the reason for establishing the company during her appearance on 'THE SEASONS - Lee Hyori's Red Carpet,' stating, 'I wanted to freely and casually try personal activities, which led to the careful establishment of the company.' She added, 'OA Entertainment actually has some of the crew members I've been with for a long time, and I wanted to have the freedom to do any activities. So, even if my path is different from others, I created this name to mean that I can accomplish it well.'
