Stray Kids’ Felix celebrated his birthday and donated a total of 300 million won (about 34,287,000 yen). JYP Entertainment, his agency, announced today (the 15th), “Felix, on this day, celebrated his birthday and entrusted a total of 300 million won, with 100 million won (about 11,434,000 yen) each to Samsung Seoul Hospital and Seoul National University Children’s Hospital, and 50 million won (about 5,717,000 yen) each to the incorporated association Books International and UNICEF Korea Committee.” It continued, “Felix’s donation will be used to support treatment costs for pediatric cancer patients and to support socially vulnerable groups. In addition, it is scheduled to be used as part of cultural education and awareness-improvement programs through picture books, for the creation and production of picture books in the mother tongue, and for emergency relief for the major flood in Nepal.” He has also practiced good deeds such as donations in the past. He has a history of contributing to UNICEF’s child nutrition and drinking water and sanitation support project in Laos, World Vision’s breakfast support project for children vulnerable to food in Korea, support for treatment costs for pediatric and adolescent patients at Seoul Samsung Hospital, and donations for Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association, the social welfare corporation World Vision, and recovery from a fire disaster in Hong Kong. Not only Felix, but earlier on the 14th, member Han also delivered a total donation of 100 million won to the social welfare corporation Angels’ Haven in commemoration of his birthday, and took action to support abused children and children in child welfare facilities. Felix revealed, “I sincerely hope that many children’s days will be filled with bright hope instead of worry. Stray Kids’ Han marked his birthday by donating 100 million won to the social welfare organization Angels’ Heaven. The money will be split equally to support the protection and psychological treatment of abused children, and the child-rearing and education of children at Eunpyeong Angel’s Home. Stray Kids became the first overseas male artist and first K-pop male artist to hold a solo concert at MUFG Stadium in Japan. Over two days, they performed 28 songs for 175,000 fans, premiered new tracks, and surprised fans with added Tokyo Dome shows in November.
