
TEN from NCT and WayV conveyed his feelings about the expiration of his exclusive contract with SM Entertainment. Today (6th), through his SNS, TEN revealed, "In the future, I plan to continue spending time with everyone as TEN from NCT and WayV. At the same time, I am about to start a new challenge as a solo artist." He continued, "After debuting in NCT U in 2016, the time I spent meeting everyone while working with NCT and WayV is filled with truly important and happy memories in my life." He added, "Leaving Thailand at a young age and coming to Korea, there were many moments that were unfamiliar and scary, but all the staff at SM sincerely cared for me and were always on my side. Above all, I believe I exist now because of the fans who protected me at every moment. I truly thank you from the bottom of my heart." As he turns 30, he reflected on "What kind of person do I want to be in the future?" and "What kind of music and image do I want to show?" After much thought, he explained, "I felt the desire to try new challenges in a new environment." He stated, "I understand well that this choice was not easy and that my life's direction could change significantly in the future. However, I will do my best to move forward with responsibility for my choices so that I do not have regrets." Previously, on the same day, SM announced, "We have concluded our exclusive contract with TEN after deep discussions about his future activities," adding, "We plan to adjust so that TEN can participate in group activities with WayV and NCT in the future." Born in 1996 in Thailand, TEN debuted in NCT U in 2016. He began activities with WayV in 2019 and also participated in SuperM that same year. He has been active as a solo artist, releasing works such as 'TEN' in 2024 and 'STUNNER' in 2025.
Former NCT member Mark will release a new song, “My Friend,” at 1 p.m. on the 10th, five months after leaving SM Entertainment.
