ITZY's Ryujin appeals to charisma in the teaser image of the new album, raising expectations for the comeback. ITZY will release the new album "BORN TO BE" and the title track "UNTOUCHABLE" on January 8th. Prior to this, JYP Entertainment has been gradually releasing teaser content that allows you to catch a glimpse of the concept of the new album through official SNS channels, creating an atmosphere. Following the release of Yeji's individual teaser content on the 12th, Ryujin's concept photo and video clip were released at midnight on the 13th. In the photo, Ryujin emits a strong aura with bold poses, captivating the gaze. She perfectly pulls off unique styling, such as unique point eye makeup and blue-colored lenses, appealing her clear presence as the "model of cool & beauty." In the video clip, under the night sky with thunder and lightning, she sits in a desolate field, sending a powerful gaze towards the camera, making an impact. The intense charm of "BORN TO BE" was announced, including a total of 10 songs, including the title track "UNTOUCHABLE," "BORN TO BE," "Mr.Vampire," "Dynamite," "Crown On My Head" (Yeji), "Blossom" (Lia), "Run Away" (Ryujin), "Mine" (Chaeryeong), "Yet, but" (Yuna), and "Escalator." ITZY participated in writing and composing their first solo songs after their debut, packing their musical individuality. Korean and international famous writers such as Islan, Ban Hehyon, Maria Marcus, Shim Eunji, Lee Umin (collapsedone), GALACTIKA*, SELAH, and MRCH participated, completing a diverse album. ITZY will make their first comeback in 2024, releasing a total of 8 videos, including the music videos for the title track "UNTOUCHABLE," the opening track "BORN TO BE," and the track "Mr.Vampire," as well as solo track videos for all members, and will expand their promotions. Then, on February 24th and 25th, they will hold a solo concert at the Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium in Songpa-gu, Seoul, kicking off their second world tour, "ITZY THE 2ND WORLD TOUR 'BORN TO BE'." Recently, ITZY received gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of America for their mega-hit song "WANNABE." In addition, in the 2023 year-end charts of the American Billboard, "CHESHIRE" and "KILL MY DOUBT" ranked on the "Top Current Album Sales" chart, expanding their popularity in Korea and abroad. In 2024, global K-POP fans are eagerly anticipating ITZY's activities on the world stage. ITZY's new mini-album "BORN TO BE" will be officially released at 6 p.m. on January 8th. A countdown live will be streamed at 5 p.m. on the same day to share the joy of the comeback with MIDZY (ITZY's fans).
