Hoshi from SEVENTEEN has once again surprised fans with a new song. Today (11th) at 6 PM, through Pledis Entertainment, he released the audio and music video for the new song 'Fallen Superstar.' This is his solo song, about two months after the release of 'TAKE A SHOT' in September. 'Fallen Superstar' contains a story of two hurt individuals finding warmth in each other’s flaws. With a fast tempo drum and lyrical guitar sound contrasting, Hoshi's delicate vocals create a poetic music piece. The song features composer Andrew Goldstein, who has worked with global artists like Maroon 5 and Katy Perry, and singer-songwriter JXDN, who was nominated for one of the four major music awards in the U.S., the MTV Video Music Awards. Hoshi is challenging himself with his first English solo song, aiming to broaden his connection with fans. The music video expresses the subtle emotional lines of 'Fallen Superstar,' where downfall and love coexist, through sophisticated visual aesthetics. It showcases a shattered guitar and Hoshi falling in reverse playback, with a guitar pick inscribed with the phrase 'You're just a Fallen Superstar.' Hoshi has been expanding his musical spectrum with various solo songs, including 'Damage (HOSHI Solo) (feat. Timbaland),' 'I Want You Back,' and 'STAY,' in addition to group and unit activities. His previously surprise-released solo song 'TAKE A SHOT' entered the top ranks of 'iTunes Worldwide Song' and was widely loved.
