BTS (Bangtan Sonyeondan) will expand the scale of the urban cultural festival to the whole world. According to the announcement made today (20th) through Weverse, this special project is scheduled to take place in Las Vegas, USA in May and Busan in June. 'THE CITY ARIRANG' is a large-scale spatial project that embodies BTS's music story, merging it with media art throughout the hosting cities. It opened in Seoul on the 20th of last month, coinciding with the comeback of the 5th full album 'ARIRANG', and will continue to provide innovative experiences by arranging programs according to the unique characteristics of each city, creating the best synergy with the local area. The event in Las Vegas will run from May 20 to 31 local time. In particular, it will maximize synergy with the world tour schedule held at Allegiant Stadium, which will take place four times (May 23-24, 27-28). There will be plenty of highlights utilizing collaborations with famous local brands. Starting from the 20th, stays at IP hotels decorated with BTS themes will begin, along with F&B collaborations with global dining companies and an official after-party at a famous club that will unfold excitement all night long. Additionally, the Strip area, a representative tourist and commercial district of Las Vegas, and major landmarks symbolizing the city will be covered in intense red lighting, the main color of this album. Super-sized electronic billboards will be filled with messages welcoming BTS. Furthermore, major spaces are planned to be transformed into stages for 'THE CITY ARIRANG'. From June 5 to 21, the event will return to Korea, holding performances in Busan. Starting with concerts at Busan Asiad Main Stadium on June 12 and 13, unique cultural experience courses will be developed throughout the city. Details regarding the programs and schedules for 'THE CITY ARIRANG' in Las Vegas and Busan will be released sequentially through Weverse.
